johnnies POV:

i've gone to this school for 2 weeks now. i mean i guess it's kinda different from my old school, but how the kids act is definitely not. i am happy that i made a friend! and kill me if i'm weird but he's kinda cute. i know i just met him but i can't help but stare at his beautiful face. "whatcha lookin' at?" jake says smiling and leaning on my desk. "w-what?" i say after realizing he caught me staring at him. "nothing you can keep looking ;)" jake says. what does that mean? i'm shaking at the thought of him it's almost as if he's a void i can get sucked into if i stare at him long enough.

the bell rings and i start to walk home until someone runs up behind me. i turn around and just before i can see who it is.. "hey old pal!" oh. my. god. bryan is here too? i feel like he's following me almost. i knew he said he moved so he can go work somewhere but i didn't know he moved here! "what do you want bryan." i say rolling my eyes. "i just wanted to check in on you yk;)" bryan says smirking in a creepy way. just before i say something i feel someone behind me.

jakes POV:

"hey! let's go!" i say quickly. i grab johnnies hand and run to my car. i quickly open the door and urge him to get in. he gets in and closes the door and i get in the drivers seat and start driving. "are you okay johnnie?" i say making sure he's okay. i don't know who that dude is but johnnie did not seem comfortable around him. "what do you mean, i'm fine." johnnie says trembling. "you looked scared, i don't know who he is but i wanted to get you outta there before something bad happens." i say worried. "thanks, he's an old friend who did and said inappropriate things to me and my friends and then he moved once he turned 20 and i guess he works near here now." johnnie says fast and running out of breath.

we pull into my garage and i get him out and sit him on the couch. i give him a big hug and tell him he can sleep here tonight if he wants.
