UNDO

This is unbelievable.

Eave is not just a trump card. He's also a wild card. Dang.

We did not expect Eave to give us a useful lead in tracking Snow's whereabouts. He's not just helping us in Team Red. He has also given a puzzle piece to Team Snow.

We immediately inform Wolf and the whole team about what Eave told us. Eave explained to Wolf where and when he saw Snow, what she was wearing, and if there are other clues.

"I'm sorry. If only I was able to read her mind back then, I could've had more information."

"No, it's fine," Terra says, holding Eave's shoulders. "You couldn't have known that time. What you're telling us right now is already helpful. You've given us the most recent whereabouts of Snow."

"That's true," Wolf adds. "The last piece of info we have before yours is from seven months ago. But your sighting of Snow happened about two months ago. That's a lot of help already."

"I heard you've already been informed about our request regarding the interrogation of Psych," Terra opens the topic. Well, there'd be no point in going slowly since Eave already knows about our plan.

At this same instant, he's probably reading our minds again. But he said he can only read minds one at a time. I wonder whose mind he's focusing on right now.

"Yours, Hagane," Eave says, looking at me with that amused grin.

"Goodness, where's the privacy?"

Eave laughs. He talks like an adult but he laughs like a child. Which is good.

"You should already get used to it," Bloom whispers to me.

"You know that whispering doesn't really help. Eave will still know what you're thinking."

"I know. If he's focusing his chi on me."

"Don't worry. I may invade your privacy sometimes, but I'm good at keeping secrets. I won't announce anything you don't want to be put to light," Eave says, eyebrows wiggling intentionally.

He's teasing us, for sure. I can feel it.

"Good then," I meaningfully say.

"So you said you saw Snow at your town. She was wearing a blue hooded cloak," Wolf recaps.

"Yes."

"Okay, we should take note of that."

"You don't expect Snow to wear the same clothing everyday, do you? I mean that would stink," I comment.

"Idiot, not everyday. It's all about chances. If we see someone with a blue hooded cloak, there's a chance that it's Snow, since we now know she has that type of clothing," Bloom explains.

"That's right. We should consider every trivial detail," Wolf adds. "Okay, I'll start searching near that town. Ask around if anyone saw her."

"Oh, I remember something!" Eave exclaims. "She was bringing some strawberries."

"Strawberries?" I question. That's too random.

"Snow loves strawberries," Terra states in realization. "She craves strawberries often back in the days...I'm now completely convinced. That woman you saw really is Snow."

"That's funny. She's been hiding for so many years and now she got discovered just because she craved strawberries," I can't help but comment on this amusing coincidence.

"What if we use that to lure her in?" Wolf suggests.

"That's a good idea. We should put up a store somewhere and sell strawberries," I add.
