Loving the Death

A wish of mine
Once shook me to the core
To leave the world, meet the divine
I wouldn't ask for any more

List the things this world has for me
A few materialistic things? Ha!
But can my soul break free!"

I've completed my goals
And now look ahead
Got rid of my roles
And already feel so dead

I know I was once misled
To want to live ahead
Unknown of the truths
I forgot my roots

Here I stand today
Looking at your way

Today I understand your depth
And am ready to embrace you, dear death...
