Peeling Oranges

I was asked the question, "what is love?"

Logically we know love is simply a few chemicals in the brain

But don't people say that love defies logic?

I've never been in love

I don't think I'll ever be in love,

Instead I study the way people think.

(I wonder why...

Maybe I want to forget the way I think)

To love is to work for it

It wouldn't be love if it were easy

To love another person is difficult

But we're in love with them and so we try to love them

I think love is learning to peel oranges together
