I want to hear your name on the lips of the people.
I want to hug your family.
I want to say how I miss you
And how I missed you out loud.
Maybe someone won't make the same mistake I did.
At least I learned from it.
I want to paint the sky red
And write your name in it.
You were gone way too soon
And the number of birthdays I got
Over the cool older girl
Breaks my heart.
The wheel of the years keeps spinning
My hair is graying
And you're in a garden
While our hearts are broken.
We don't grieve people who didn't make an impact.
You were so much
In so little time.

A Place Where No One Can Find Me
PoetryScreaming poetry in the void. Hoping no one I know IRL sees it. That'd be super awkward. Anyway, I was looking for a place no one can find me.
