Leviticus 2:1-13
The meat offering is a meal that people don't have to cook. The meat offering is a worship and a meal. It is a sweet savior to the Lord. The reason there can't be any honey and leaven is because leaven is like sin and honey was used in the Gentiles' worship. The offering needs salt, and the cake is good to eat with the salt. The salt means us and we can't forget that we are the salt of the earth and the light of the world. God wants offerings with savor, God wants offerings season with salt. The world knows how we're supposed to act.
