Frida served hot chocolate to her youngest grandson since they were just having breakfast; The boys had woken up early, forcing her to wake up early as well, but Viola and Hanna were still sleeping and she wasn't going to bother waking them up. "Can I have more candy canes?" Leonard asked, Frida had prepared them a delicious hot chocolate with milk and whipped cream and to pamper them, she added a few marshmallows and Christmas candy canes.

"Just one more," she warned him, she didn't like saying no or forbidding them from things, but she also knew that too much sugar wasn't good, it made them addicted.

"Thank you!" Leonard said and took the cane, but at that moment they heard the doorbell ring.

"It could be our grandfather..." Linus commented.

Frida looked at her watch and shook her head, it was still very early. "Not yet," she said. "Keep eating breakfast," she added, finally heading to the door to open it.

"Surprise!" Henry exclaimed, as soon as she opened it.

"Just in time," Frida smiled, opening the door fully and letting him in. "Welcome," he hugged her and squeezed her tight.

"It's been a few months," she smiled pulling away from him and looked at him, happy that he was there.

"I've missed you, I can't deny it," he confessed and took his suitcase, it wasn't that big, since he had no intention of staying long. "Hey!" he said as he saw the children in the dining room.

"Henryy!" Linus got up from his chair as soon as he saw him and ran to him, the children loved him, and it was no wonder. Henry held him in his arms for a few seconds, both happy to see each other.

"How have you been kid?" he asked, stroking his blond hair.

"I've been fine, we're going to go with grandma and grandpa to buy the Christmas tree today," he announced excitedly.

"Really? Am I invited?" he asked and looked at Frida smiling.

"If you agree to carry the giant tree," Frida conditioned him. "But in the meantime, take your suitcase to the room, it's ready. It's the second one in the hallway," she instructed.

Henry nodded, but first, he turned to Leonard. "Hey buddy," he gave him his fist so they could bump each other.

"Hello!" Leonard responded to the greeting.

"I'll be back in a minute," Frida warned the children and followed Henry into the bedroom, they of course had separate rooms. "Hanna and Viola are sleeping in the other room," she informed him. "They stayed here last night and my intention is for them to be with me a few days after Christmas," she added.

"That's good, isn't it?" He put the suitcase next to the closet, to unpack it in a while. "They love being with you..."

"They do," she responded quickly. "But you know their tradition has always been to be with Benny and Mona," she bit her lip and stared out the window. "I would like this year to be different."

"You just have to ask for it, I guess. What does Göran think?"

"I haven't talked to him about it," she replied. "At least not specifically," she continued. Henry and Frida knew each other quite well, he knew almost everything about her and could understand her, which is why they had always remained close and united.

"What are you up to?" He looked at her suspiciously.

"Absolutely nothing," she shook her head. "I'm just trying to spend time with my family, wasn't that what you told me the last time we talked about it?" She defended herself.
