A few looks exchanged between the cast members as the read went on, and a few laughs scattered here and there as the actors got a taste of what would soon become the characters they would portray for the next few months and so on. Everyone seemed to zone in on Kristin and Idina's parts, as for they were the lead roles, and seemed to hang on to every last word that they spoke as if it were the most beautiful and inspiring thing they have ever heard. The read ended as quickly as it began and everyone received their notes and fled the room to go home. Kristin and Idina walked out together, exchanged phone numbers, and parted to go their own separate ways to get ready for their sudden change of plans, which included dining together and starting a friendship.

                      IDINA'S POV
"Alright Idina, Kristin said casual wear tonight so don't dress up and ruin it by wearing a dress, or better yet wearing sweat pants, which is always an option for yourself, but making a good impression wouldn't hurt. Jeans and a t-shirt it is. Don't wear white, you're having Italian food,  no white or you'll get sause on your shirt and look ridiculous. Plus that means you have to wash it when you get home." Idina shuttered at that thought, because, well, she wasn't really a doing laundry is fun kind of girl. Blue it is.

                   KRISTIN'S POV

"Okay, Kris, no dress, well maybe, okay no, just jeans and a shirt will do just fine, God where is that shirt at? Oh there, ew no, next one." After a while of digging, Kristin found a shirt she liked slipped It over her head and walked out the door.

              IDINA'S POV
"Okay let's go." Idina said as she shut off the lights and shut her front door.

               THIRD PERSON POV

Idina and Kristin's eyes met as soon as Kristin walked through the door, Idina was already seated at the table by the window. Kristin quickly walked over and sat down as the waiter came up and took their drink orders, then scurried off the to kitchen. "Hi." Idina said, "Hi," Kristin replied "Nice to see you again, it's been ages!" Kristin said, followed by a laugh from Idina. "I know it's been forever since I last saw you! oh how time flies by." Idina smirked at her own comment and that she made the blonde laugh. "How long have you been sitting here by yourself? " asked Kristin.  "Only a few minutes, I practically ran here because I thought I would be late." "Well I walked so I think I deserve a little credit for making it here on time." "Well we'll see about that. " Idina replied as the drinks came and the food was ordered.
