Baraka began to smash his fists against the door splintering the wood he looked at Y/N and gave him a nod the reaper understanding his request

He drove his scythe into the door destroying it

" Hurry" Baraka said as they all left

They exited the laboratory and made it to the forest the fresh air was well appreciated among the warriors

Kung Lao and Cage were helping Kenshi walk as they made their way through the forest

Syzoth and Baraka were at the front of the group since they new the area best and Y/N was at the back to protect them from any attack

Kung Lao glanced over his shoulder at Y/N with some curiosity " So how long were you going to hide the fact that you can use fire?"

Y/N shrugged " You never asked"

Kung Lao shook his head " Any other tricks?"

" My power comes from what people associate with death" Y/N says

" So that's why you use a scythe" Cage asks

Y/N nods " Yep along with the cloak"

" So what's the deal with that scythe it seems to shatter almost any normal weapon and after all these years it still has no chips?" Kung Lao asks

" I'm not gonna go reveal all my secrets now" Y/N says with a smirk making the others shake their head

Syzoth looks back at the others urging them to go faster " We can't linger we'll be captured"

" We need help getting Kenshi to the portal at Sun Do" Kung Lao says

" I can take you only to the city's gate, Tarkatans are forbidden inside" Baraka says looking back

" I'll see you the rest of the way" Syzoth says

The group had gotten deeper into the forest and made good distance between them and the laboratory

" This reminds me of Wicked planet" Cage says taking in the scenery

" We had this forest in second act and.."

" The manticore battle?" Kenshi says as he holds onto Cage's shoulder as they walk

" Yes!" Cage said happy someone finally knew what he was talking about

The two continued to exchange words their relationship seemed to of taken a turn for the better afterall before the only thing they could do was bicker with one another

" This is the living forest" Baraka says as if this specific one is special

" Aren't all forests living Baraka?" Kung Lao asks

" No others have trees that house the souls of the dead" Baraka says looking back at him

" Woah.. Wait a take were talking ghosts?!" Cage asks

" Good ones, not evil" Baraka says

" You guys know anybody in here?" Cage says looking around seemingly much more alert now
