Lampert would sit on the sofa, accompanying the other in which had been invited soley for the purpose of " hanging out ".
Silence would engolf the room as the two would watch TV, a few inches away from eachother as one would think.
What would be appropriate to talk about within the situation? It was confusing to think; as his lightbulb would flicker occasionally. Lampert would pull down his string once it happened, glances being exchanged between the two.
" How's the accompaniment? " A dim lightbulb would speak to the cerulean fellow; their lightbulb slightly brightening under a soft blush.
" Well! I feel..it's fine! Great, even! " They'd say, pulling up his bloodied bandages over one eye. He'd chuckled; smiling softly.
The gap would close between them, subconsciously, yet they knew their plans.
One movement to another, they'd be closer together as time passed by.
Hands touch; shoulders touch; and soon, heads.
A hand would raise to one's face; as they'd stare at eachothers eyes. An odd feeling would emit from the two. It felt pleasing, yet nice, it was something to enjoy in the moment.
The two would stare in silence, awaiting for one to make a move. They were seemingly still, yet words raced in their minds.
They inched closer..
and closer..
..and closer...
Before a sudden knock was heard, a voice behind it.
" Par'dner! Ya' ther'? "
They'd hurry to get themselves composed again; as he'd pull up his bandage; in comparison of Lampert pulling his string.
It was nice in the moment; but not for now.
