Imam Mekye had always been known for his unwavering faith and spiritual sincerity. From a young age, he had devoted himself to the teachings of his faith, seeking to bring peace and enlightenment to those around him. His deep connection to the spiritual world had earned him the respect and admiration of his community, and he was revered as a wise and compassionate leader.

During this time in his life, a bold theological movement was trying to establish itself. The Interfaith Council for Spiritual Unity and Understanding (ICSUU) was created with the ambitious agenda to become a conglomeration of world religions, and a compendium of spiritual and philosophical thought that would foster universal dialogue, collaboration, and mutual respect among the world's major religious traditions. Comprised of representatives from Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, and other faiths, the council aimed to address pressing global issues such as social justice, environmental stewardship, and human rights through a lens of shared spirituality and ethical values.

Initially, the ICSUU made significant strides in promoting this sort of interfaith cooperation and understanding. They organized international conferences, interfaith prayer services, and humanitarian initiatives that garnered widespread support and attention. Their progressive stance on inclusivity and social justice resonated with many, and the council's influence seemed to be growing.

However, within a few years, the council's initiatives began to falter. One of the primary reasons for its decline was the rise of political tensions and extremism within member faith communities. As nationalistic and fundamentalist movements gained traction in several countries, the members of the council became increasingly polarized and entrenched in their respective religious and cultural identities.

The ICSUU's efforts to address complex geopolitical and social issues were hindered by the growing distrust and animosity among its own members. Disagreements over theological interpretations, cultural practices, and political allegiances became insurmountable obstacles, leading to a series of highly publicized and acrimonious internal conflicts.

Ultimately, the council's failure was emblematic of a broader global trend towards religious and ideological fragmentation, making it increasingly difficult for diverse religious traditions to find common ground on complex, real-world challenges. The inability to reconcile deep-seated theological and cultural differences, coupled with the rise of insular and exclusionary ideologies, led to the eventual dissolution of the ICSUU, leaving a void in the realm of interfaith cooperation and understanding.

As a few decades passed, and as religions were visibly becoming exoteric and exclusive, a call for some sort of unity permeated throughout the atmosphere. The very air we breathed was becoming suffocating. The spiritual world was dying and was thus calling out for a hero, but no one seemed to want to take on the task.

For years, Imam Mekye had remained steadfast in his devotion, guiding his followers with wisdom and compassion. He spent his days in prayer and reflexion, seeking to deepen his understanding of the divine and strengthen his esoteric connection to the spiritual realm. His commitment to his faith was unshakable, and he was widely regarded as a paragon of virtue and righteousness.

So, when spiritual leaders from around the world, heard of Mekye and his works, they called on him and suggested that he carry the warrior banner of salvation for the world. It was even purported that they suggested that he should attempt to re-create The Interfaith Council for Spiritual Unity and Understanding (ICSUU). But knowing all the pitfalls and mistakes that happened within that initiative, he rejected the idea. However, this was the moment that he formulated his own insanely radical idea. He would call it the Interfaith Library.
