The next day was first day of school. Because I didn't have much clothes and Evie noticed as she lent me some of extra clothes to borrow... it doesn't really suit me. But I appreciated the gesture. I sat through the class, fiddling with the pencil and zoning out to have Fairy Godmother snapping fingers in my face.
"Pay attention!" Fairy Godmother said.
Mal whom was assigned next to me was also daydreaming.
"You too, Mal!" she scolds.
Mal flinched as well as the teacher carried on.
"What's got you in a day dream?"
"I don't know. Since you didn't answer my question yesterday."
I sighed.
"I'll answer later." I said as we then focused on our class.
After class
We hung out in the courtyard. I won't tell them the full truth.
"Well?" Mal said.
I swallowed my salvia.
"You see..."
"Hey, Lumi!" Ben called out.
...Thank gosh.
"Uh hey." I said awkwardly.
"Do you mind? We were having a conversation here." Mal snapped.
Ben looked at her then towards the others. I put my hand up towards Mal.
"What do you want?" I asked coldly, "Have you even made your decision?"
"No. I still standby saying you should deserve being here."
I irritatedly sigh.
"Do I need to spell it out to you? I. Do.Not.Belong.Here." I repeated.
"Of course you do! All of you do. You deserve a chance of being normal." Ben said.
"Riiiiiight." Mal said.
Ben would awkwardly clear his throat.
"...I'll leave you be. But if you have any questions, feel free to come find me."
I nodded before he leaves. I then cleared my throat.
"Does Gothel sound familiar to you?"
Even though she has nothing to do with me...
"Gothel..." Mal repeats as she puts a finger to her chin.
"Who are they?" Carlos asked.
"She's the woman who took Rapunzel in—"
"And used her glowing hair to make her younger? Okay I remember since Mother Gothel and my mother are friends. But I don't remember Mother Gothel having another child."
I nervously laughed.
"She did like to keep me away from everyone." I said nervously.
"Makes sense I guess." Mal said with a shrug.
"Anyways we need to—"
Mal shushed him. I looked at Mal suspiciously.
"What's going on?"
Mal sighed.
"Mal's Mother needs Fairy Godmother's wand to break the spell and take over the world." Evie responded.
Mal facepalmed.
"Well you could've asked me."
"Well we know where it is but it's under a spell." Mal explained.
