Cerritos bridge quickly muted their communication.

Freeman: Will someone shut that up!?

Shaxs nods and leaves the bridge. Back in the bar, the band finish their music.

Mariner: You're welcome.

They leave before Boimler was back in the stage.

Boimler: Okay, whatever that was. Ladies and gentleman, "Requiem for a hug."

Boimler was about to play until Shaxs enters the bar and grabs Boimler violin.

Shaxs: Captain says you're too loud!

Boimler: Oh go, oh no, no, I'm so sorry!

Time skip

The Cerritos was en route to Cardassia prime to broke a peace until the council canceled it and moves it to planet Vulcan. Instead, the Cerritos will be heading to Gelrak 5 for diplomatic trinkets. In other words, delivering gifts which did enraged the captain after all the weeks she spent on practicing and preparation.

What really makes her disappointed is because starfleet doesn't actually respect the Cerritos. Which makes her wonder why and how is it that they don't really. Meanwhile with the lower decks at the Brig, they're fixing and testing out the forcefield of the Brig where Boimlers is in the brig to test it from the inside.

Rutherford: Okay, try it now

Mariner fires a phaser at the forcefield which protected Boimler.
