The Crimson Mark

Cana's POV

"It's been a month since Zack joined the guild." I thought happily "Since then he and Elfman have become best friends. He and Laxus have become rivals. It's now a three way battle between Gray, Natsu, and, Zack. And I've been happier lately, it's strange, does he have some happiness potion?"
"Hey, Cana, you alive? It's your move." Zack was looking at his hand of cards.
"Do you have a four?" I smiled at Zack, the guy that was named the guilds worst card player.
"And if I do?" He asked with an eyebrow raise.
"Give it here, you idiot." I laughed and out my hand out.
"Well, you win." Zack said, giving me his last card "I can't even win go fish! How dumb is that?"
"Only a real man can admit that he lost." Elfman walked up behind him.
"Hey, Lizardman." Zack stood up and looked at Elfman.
"What're you and Cana doing?" Elfman asked curiously.
"We're taking a break after a job, also known as Cana is winning cards after a job." Zack chuckled.
"Well, Zacky, you were named Fairy Tail's worst card player." I smile at him.
"That's not my name." Zack mumbled while trying to hide a blush.
"Look, Zack, I need help with a job." Elfman said seriously "My take over magic won't cut it."
"I'll help you out, Metalarm." Zack said, making fun of Elfman's different take-overs, as usual "Talk to you later, Cana."
"See ya, Zacky. Be careful with him, Elfman. He's fragile." I teased
"Shut it, Cana. I'm a real man!" Zack flexed
"Yeah, a real man with spaghetti arms." I chuckled "Now go help Elfman."
"Yeah yeah." Zack walked out
"Wait, Zack! You don't even know where you're going!" Elfman said then started running after him
"He's insane." I smiled while watching Zack walk off into the horizon with Elfman running to catch up
"Talking about Zack?" Said Romeo, the spunky fire wizard, who had walked up behind me
"Yeah, why?" I started to put the card back into a stack
"Because you must lo-ove him." Happy flew by my head and sped away before I could hurt him
"Shut it, stupid cat!" I threw a card at him, which flew right next to his head, cutting off three of his whiskers
"Augh!" Happy quickly flew out the window
"Well, you and Zach do spend a lot of time together, Cana." Romeo said, still behind me
"I swear, Romeo, I will hurt you. I do not like Zack like that." I said with my eye starting to twitch
"Look, I'm just saying that you two are good friends, I'm not say no anything more than that." Romeo said and quickly put up his hands
"Good." I nod
"I wonder what Elfman needed Zack for." Romeo said with a shrug "Whatever, gimme a hand of cards, let's play."
