part XIII - paranoid

She keeps looking around and really paranoid. Was it the lack of sleep Yunjin got? Yoona heard Yunjin getting up in the middle of the night while she was sleeping, but never heard her going back to bed.

" Hey, are you okay? " Yoona asked.

" Oh- Huh, me? " Yunjin instantly turned her head to Yoona and flinched as if she was a bit shocked to hear her voice, " Uh, yeah. I'm fine. "

" You don't look fine, though. "

" Then don't look? " Yoona rolled her eyes as Yunjin went back to looking paranoid.

" Fucking hell Choi Yunjin, are you hallucinating? You look so scared and worried. " Yoona said, " Is there something bothering you? "

" No..? " Yunjin said, " You know what? You're the one being paranoid about me being paranoid! "

She was kind of right though.

" No I'm not. It's more of worried than paranoid. " Yoona explained, " I'm always so worried about you. Or maybe that's just how you act... "

Yunjin was shocked to hear the words that was coming out of Yoona's mouth. She looked at Yoona with confusion but also a bit of awe, Yunjin couldn't help but smile and blush a bit as she looked at the floor trying to hide it.

" Woah, that's cool... " Yunjin muttered.

" Cool..? "

" It's nothing, Yoona. "

" Did you even sleep yesterday night? " Yoona asked, in which Yunjin didn't even bother to lie. She knew Yoona knew already.

" No. " Yunjin sighed, " And it's all my fault, do you know why? "

" Why? "

" I forgot Banani! I left her in my house and I want to get it back. " Yunjin pouted, " I'm still so fucking mad at myself. "

" Banani? "

" It's a doll I have, I can't sleep without it. I mostly get nightmares and stuff if I don't have it. " Yunjin explained, " That's why I kept calling you when I was in the hospital, but you kept declining... "

" You called me? "

" Yeah! I used the hospital phone though, so it was displayed as unknown. "

" Oh. Sorry. "

" Apology not accepted. "

Yoona couldn't help but feel a bit bad for Yunjin. She saw her acting totally different than normal all day. In class she would zone out and even fall asleep a lot, and even if she was woken up, she would quickly go back to sleep.

There were so many times where Yoona had to shake her to wake Yunjin up or snap her out of her trance during class since the teacher would keep scolding her.

She definitely didn't even get a single second of sleep yesterday.

Poor Yunjin.
