Wei wuxian was riding on the donkey called little apple, as he was riding back to lotus pier for his nephew Jing lings birthday because he got an invite to his birthday from a letter he got from his nephew hoping that he would come.
Wei wuxian was almost at lotus pier and tied little apple up so he would walk the rest of the way there, he was looking at the stalls that had stuff he liked the look of until he bumped into someone, he said " I apologise I wasn't looking where I was going are you ok-" he looked at who he bumped into and was shocked.
He had a shocked look on his face once he saw who he bumped into it was his son a-yuan and once a-yuan looked at who had apologized to him he also had a shocked look on his face and spoke first " a-die is that you" he had tears coming out now and wei wuxian looked at him and gave him a smile and had his arms stretched out and a-yuan was confused until he spoke "a-yuan come give your a-die a hug I missed you" a-yuan also had a smile forming and started crying going to hug his a-die because he hasn't seen his a-die in a while.
After a couple of minutes of crying and hugging they finally let go of eachother wiping the tears away from their faces and facing one another, after staring at eachother for 5 minutes a-yuan spoke first " so what are you doing here a-niang I thought you were traveling for a while" looking at wei wuxian whilst asking the question and then wei wuxian spoke " well I got a birthday invite from Jing ling and a letter with it with him asking me to see if I could attend it once I have finished my travelling so I thought since I was near by I would drop by and attend his birthday". a-yuan was surprised and excited at the same time and answered "then we can all go together because i am on my way there anyway before i bumped into you a-die" and wei wuxian smiled and answered back "ok lets head to lotus pier then" so wei wuxian grabbed lil apple and tied the donkey to a post and started heading to lotus pier.
2 hours later both wei wuxian and a-yuan were looking at the front of lotus pier whilst they were both on the boat, once the boat got to the docks a-yuan could see that jiyi was waiting for him on the docks so they both got off the boat jiyi was the first one to talk " sizui where were you the party started 15 minutes ago jing ling was getting impatient and was about to head off to find you". Then he turned to see wei wuxian standing right beside a-yuan and bowed and said " i apologize master wei i did not see you there i am surprised to see you made it jing ling was having doubts on wether you were coming or not, even though he doesn't show it" wei wuxian hand signaled for jiyi to stop bowing and stand up striaght that is what he did, then jiyi says " well it is great to see you master Wei we should head inside and find a room for master Wei to go in and we can get Jing ling so it can be a surprise for him since he doesn't know that you are here". He looked at wei wuxian then at a-yuan.
He looks at both of them whilst they were nodding there heads at eachother until he says " look you guys I only came to give him his present in person because I thought it would be nice then I will probably go because I know sect leader Jiang won't want me to be there" he looked at both of them with a smile but they both wasn't going to take no for an answer so jiyi grabbed wei wuxians hand and took him into lotus pier into a spare room and a-yuan went to go look for jing ling.
After about 10 minutes of looking for jing ling he sighed in releaf because a-yuan saw jing ling talking to his uncle jiang cheng so he walked up to them hearing their conversation saying "look uncle jiang i know i shouldn't keep my hopes up but i sent the invite to him anyway he is also my other uncle is well", and jiang cheng replies " i know jing ling i know he is also your other uncle but he hasn't sent you a letter back saying that he will be coming- oh hi sizui are you here to see jing ling" his eyes are now looking at sizui that has been standing there for 5 minutes until he replies "yes i have sect leader jiang i was wondering if i could borrow him for a while", bowing at him and jiang cheng nodded his head and says back " ofcourse just make sure he comes back to open presents" sizui nods and grabs jing lings hand and runs off.
