The first prompt

"Hellooooo????"
Rachel yelled throughout the house. Nobody answered back.

Oh he was right! Nice. He said the room upstairs, the first one on the right after you turn left.
Ugh, I hate spiral stairs.

"AH!"
Rachel screamed as she tripped on the 5th stair.

Owwww my shin hurts so bad! Ugh what the heck this always happens

After painfully making the rest of the way up the stairs she opened the door

Woah! This is nice!!! I knew he cleaned and set up the room for me before he left but dang! Im impressed!

Why won't he just let me live here, it smells so good, like flowers. I don't ge- oh wait, his boyfriend, that's right. God knows what their doing in this massive house alone! Ew. Nevermind. Gross.

Rachel unpacked her things and plopped on her new temporary bed.

Oh lets see if  shelby texted me!

As always Rachel struggles to pull her big phone out off her small back pockets.
Finally getting a hold of her phone, she turns it on to see-

Nothing.. It's been all week, and she hasn't texted me back.. Did I do something wrong? Did I upset her? Ugh what's wrong with me? Maybe she lost her phone! Yeah she wouldn't forget about me.. Right?

Usually Rachel stays optimistic, but when it comes to Shel, she makes Rachel so pessimistic.

It—It's fine! Sh-She probably didn't.. I'm just being selfish! Ugh. Stay focused, I can't have anything distracting me. I have to get started on that assignment. Where did I put my laptop? I just put it somewhere....... Oh! Under the bed!

Rachel went to reach for where she assumed her bag was, but her hand ran into something else.

Huh? What's this?

Rachel pulled it out

Oh.. A shoebox? What's inside?

Rachel opened the shoebox

OH MY GOD! THERE PICTURES OF ME AND JACK AS KIDS! I didn't know he kept these! Wait, no I'm supposed to be finding my laptop. Ah why does this world curse me with so many distractions!

She reached once again

Ah there it is, now it's time to find a good spot to do this assignment.

Rachel wondered around the house slowly going through every room trying to find a good place to focas, except for Jack and Corrin's bedroom.

Damn, for how big this house is I literally can't find anywhere good to start. The living room looks nice but im just not feelin it. Whatever I'll just go back to my room.

After climbing the stairs she entered her room once again

Woah, the suns glowing perfectly. Wait does this window go onto the roof? That's it! If I can find a ladder then I can do my assignment on the roof!

Rachel ended up finding a ladder in the crevices of the laundry room (which was downstairs) and brought it upstairs tripping, and hitting her arms on the railings of the stairs.

Finally! Okay let's get this thing setup!

After setting up the ladder, she started climbing up

It's not stairs, i can do this, I wont trip. 1 foot after the other, left, right, left, right.
YES! I DID IT! Okay now to open the window!

After opening the window she slowly climbs up and out with her backpack on her back.

I'm so smart, this spot is perfect!

Around 10 Minutes later

"As the sun sets over the harbor, the lights of the city come on, one by one."
Ugh I can't figure out what to write! I only have 1 sentence!
I don't even know why im getting this degree, I mean I only wanted to get it because my dad wanted me to take over his business. What's the point? No! Yes you took this course to get it but you can't give up, it cost money! Dang it. Just finish this year, then I can do whatever. Okay let's listen to some Backseat Lovers to stay on task.

She turned on Out of Tune by The Backseat Lovers and got back to writing different prompts to see which one would be more intriguing. She started writing and writing and before she knew it,
"Ow! Stupid mosquito."
She said while looking up

Dang, it's already dark? I guess I'll try finishing the rest inside.

Rachel started putting her laptop away and got up

Oh my goodness, the moon looks so pretty!

Rachel has been battling this thought throughout her whole time in college and she didn't have anyone to vent to. Jessica went to Harvard and Rachel went to a college near her grandpa to take care of him. He had stage 3 cancer and is paralyzed in his left hand so he was told to stay on bed rest.
