"Momma, I'll be leaving now! Dinner should be done by the time you and daddy get home," Holly called out as she made her way to the entrance of the store, her keys in hand.
"Okay, see you later hun, be safe" Her mom called back
The bell of the store's entrance rang, signifying the girls departure, before she set off down the sidewalk to her car.
It was finally one of the warmer days in forks, although the sun was out and still hiding behind the clouds, but the weather was hot enough for short sleeves and dresses to be worn.
As Holly hummed along with the song playing in her headphones, a store she was walking by, two stores down from her family's shop, suddenly opened, almost hitting her.
"Woah!-"
"Shit!-"
A southern voice shouted, reaching a hand out quickly, and stopping the door from successfully hitting Holly in the face.
"I'm so sorry ma'am, I wasn't watching where I was going," A man said, revealing who abruptly opened the door
A tall blonde man stood in front of her, almost as tall as the door. His skin was pale, almost sickly, but had almost an angelic shine to it. His eyes were like the honey that she saw once dripping out of a honey comb from her grandfather's farm. It was sweet looking and beautiful, enchanting even.
"Are you okay?" He asked, snapping her out of her sudden trance
"Yeah I'm okay, we all make mistakes sometimes," Holly chortled, smiling kindly at him
He took a second, seeming just as dazed as she was a second ago.
The only other person that had a hairstyle like hers , and that could pull it off successfully, was Alice. Even then, he'd never think that he'd find someone that wore it so fucking well. It looked beautiful on her.
Her outfit consisted of a long sleeve green toned shirt with a slit down the front that showed her stomach and some cleavage, that he avoided all eye contact with. Paired with that, she also wore a knee length dark blue jean skirt with brown platform boots. A brown bag hung from her shoulder, as a pair of headphones and a sun necklace rested around her neck. Small silver clips held her hair back slightly in order for it to not get into her eyes.
She looked breathtaking.
"Well it was nice meeting you sir, have a good day," Holly bid goodbye, before walking past him.
The smell of lavender and plums filled the blonde's nose as Holly walked past, making him feel like he was softly being lulled to sleep.
"You too ma'am," The blonde called after her, watching as she disappeared around the corner.

As Monday morning had finally arrived, Holly made her way down the stairs with her baby brother, Mordechai, cuddled into her arms.
"Good morning momma, daddy," Holly greeted as she put her brother in his baby seat on the table, before going around and kissing her parents on their cheeks and grabbing her lunch from the counter.
"Good mornin' doll, you have to tutor someone after school today right?" Holly's mother, Veronica, asked as she sat Holly's breakfast on the table in front of her.
"Yes ma'am, it won't last long though. I'll be able to come to the store by 4 or 5" Holly reassured as she ate a piece of fruit that was on her plate.
"What was their name again? Turner, right?" Her father, Malachai, asked as he used a wet wipe to wipe off the syrup on Mordechai's mouth.
