~ 3rd person pov ~
It was 12.34pm on a random Thursday where Harry, Hermione and Ron were sitting in Snape's defence against the dark arts class. While Hermione was frantically taking notes and Ron was trying to keep up, Harry was daydreaming: borderline falling asleep.
'Shut up Malfoy.' Malfoy walked forward toward Potter while biting his bottom lip, looking him up and down before licking his lips at the sight of Potter.
It has been three years since this happened, but Harry couldn't help but to keep replaying this moment in his head from third year.
One thing Harry couldn't conclude was why Malfoy so willingly walked up to Potter while checking him out.
They'd been enemies since the day Potter avoided Malfoy's handshake upon arrival in the sorting ceremony of first year.
'Mr Potter?' Snape questioned him as Harry snapped back into reality realising he had flushed cheeks and a faint smile on his face.
His flushed cheeks was probably just the classroom being hot and his smile was definitely because lunch was approaching rapidly.
'Would you be so inclined to demonstrate with Mr Weasley?' Snape proceeded.
Harry was dazed, unsure what he was demonstrating. Nonetheless, Harry stood up and walked to the front of the classroom from the second row to join Ron who was looking equally confused as Harry.
'What are we doing up here?' Harry whispered to Ron.
'My guess is as good as yours mate.' Ron responded, before giving Harry a look of pure fright and confusion.
Harry returned the look at Ron before looking back at Snape.
'You boys will demonstrate to the class how to make the other temporarily invisible.' Snape told them the task and both Ron and Harry looked at each other terrified.
Neither had been paying much attention at all, and now they were standing in front of the class like two stunned deer.
Harry gazed around the classroom to find Malfoy in the back row laughing with his friends before looking back at Harry.
When they made eye contact Malfoy was quick to stop laughing as his cheeks turned a subtle shade of red. Harry watched as Malfoy broke eye contact, looking down and pressed his lips together before crossing his arms.
Harry looked back at Ron, gazing between him and Snape, as Snape explained how to make each other invisible. Harry stood still as Ron waved his wand at him, saying some magical words along with it.
The class had a mix of reactions along like lines of ooh's and aah's and some scattered gasps. Harry decided that Ron had been successful in turning him invisible and it was all good and well.
He remained still as he saw Ron waving his wand again in Harry's direction, speaking some anti-invisible spell. The class again reacted to Harry becoming visible again.
'Well done boys. Go and sit down again.' Snape praised them for demonstrating well in his usual cold tone.
As Harry wandered back to his seat, he and Malfoy had unbroken eye contact until the moment Harry took his seat, whipping his head around to face the front again.
