#08 | 𝗔𝗠𝗕𝗜𝗩𝗔𝗟𝗘𝗡𝗧

You hissed in pain as Gojo tried to lightly apply the medicine on you. " are you trying to kill me?" You grit  your teeth

" maybe if you stayed still" Gojo whined, applying the ointment in a circular motion

" I am" you argue back. There was some short silence before Gojo grinned widely
" ...done! " Gojo finished, proud of his work as he wrapped it with a bandage

" I can't believe you are treating me. You of all people" you thought out loud. Gojo looked back at you with a strange look

" weren't you the one calling me weak?" You emphasised a valid point. Gojo remained quiet, thinking of his answer

" I was never good with my words." Gojo started, a captivating sentence which earned your attention, "Whatever I want to say doesn't come out my mouth" he honestly confessed. His voice sounded sincere

" oh." You start off. " are you like this with everyone?" You were talking about his cocky demure

" no..for some reason I just couldn't warm up to you as quickly as I thought I would" Gojo laughed a little

You breathe in and out, making a decision right there. " then from now on, let's try to warm up to each other" you gave Gojo your hand as a wager

Gojo's eyes seemed surprise. All Gojo did was chuckle before shaking your hand, " for the record, don't think I'll get nicer" you finalise

" same here" Gojo vowed

You smile but slightly frown afterwards. " I'm sorry for what I said before...I guess I was feeling a bit off.." you apologised

Gojo nodded his head. " that curse from before..I thought it was linked to someone I knew... crazy right?" You started to laugh lightly at yourself

Gojo firmly held your hand, " it's not crazy...in fact I'm sorry for calling you delusional" Gojo was sincere. He looked vulnerable

" it's okay. It's hard to trust people" you crossed your arms, having your trust broken before

" tell me about it" Gojo agreed, having many people in his life only use him for his god like powers. Were they bounty hunters or allies? He didn't know.

" I guess I have to break it off with my boyfriend soon" you reminded. " you still haven't?" Gojo was shocked

" I mean...i can't look him in the eye anymore" you rub your hands together, knowing you would break down in front of Yamaji

" still." Gojo ended. He didn't want to comment any further because he didn't understand the commitment side to a relationship 

" I'll break up with him soon..don't worry" you reassured, " I don't get worried . I'm the strongest" Gojo declared, his hands pointing to his arms

" there you go again..." you laugh. Gojo now saw your laugh up close. To him, just a simple laugh had him wanting more. it made his heart quench in an uncomfortable way. What was this feeling?

" what's your favourite flavour in a drink ?" Shoko randomly asked you while you drank water. " my favourite flavour?" You made sure you heard Shoko correctly whilst closing your bottle
