She stayed silent for a moment, thinking about what she should say, but she was completely lost.
She just kept crying. You stayed quiet too.
You looked at her for about good 2 minutes, then groaned walking away from her and into your bedroom packing up some things.
Taylor finally looked up from her hands and was shocked to see you packing up your things. She couldn’t believe it. You were going to leave her. The thought of you doing that was unbearable. She stood up and ran after you, grabbing your arm, pulling you back.
“Don’t go.” She pleaded, tears streaming down her face as she said that.
You stopped turned around to look at her.
“Please don’t go.” She said again with a shaky voice, her blue eyes looked deep into yours and she had a desperate look on her face. She couldn’t believe that she was letting you leave.
"Taylor, I'm giving you the space you wanted. I'll be staying at my friend's house you're welcome to go there and tell me if you're ready to talk or break up" you said and grabbed your bag.
Taylor was speechless. She didn’t want you to leave like this but she also couldn’t blame you for it. She knew her behavior was unacceptable and you didn’t deserve to be treated that way.
“I’m sorry..” She said softly, her voice still cracked. It pained her to see you walk out like this, but she’d understand if you didn’t want to see her again, even though that thought was unbearable for her.
"Say that to me again, if you really mean it" you smiled walking out of the house.
Taylor followed you to the entrance door, but she was completely torn between wanting to stay with you and letting you go. She didn’t say anything for a few seconds, but suddenly she spoke again.
“I’m sorry, I really mean it.” The look on her face was genuine, you could tell that she really mean it, but you also knew that she wasn’t okay. There was something going on in her life that she wasn’t ready to talk about. She smiled at you, hoping it would make you stay.
You stood in the doorway for a second, trying to think of what to do. You couldn’t deny that she was genuinely sorry, but you were also scared that things were going to be like this all the time. But at the same time, you didn’t want to leave her.
You loved her too much for that. After a few seconds of silent thinking, you made a decision. You stepped back into the house and closed the door behind you.
Taylor looked at you with tears in her eyes, not knowing how to express how blessed she was to have you in her life.
You were the one person that had always been there for her and loved more than anything.
She walked forward towards you, wrapping her arms around your neck and just resting her head against your chest. You held her tightly and smiled, feeling like everything was going to be okay this time.
"I'm sorry" She told you, lifting her face and looking directly at you. She wanted to see how you were feeling too, if you were really still upset or not. But when she looks into your eyes right now, she couldn’t see anything else except love and affection. She smiled and looked back down at your chest, your embrace calming her heart.
Taylor took a deep breath, looking back at you and finally said what was on her heart.
“I’m sorry for ignoring you for a month, you’ve done nothing to deserve that. I was just going through a lot and I lost control of myself for a while, but I’ve realized my mistake now, and I hope you can forgive me for that.”
You kissed her forehead.
"I forgive you"
Taylor was so relieved to hear your words. She was afraid that she might have hurt you enough to make you leave, but now your forgiveness filled her heart with joy. She couldn’t help but smile, wrapping her arms around you even tighter, feeling so glad that you were still by her side.
You pulled away from her.
"Let's buy some food, what do you want?" You asked.
"Your mom, told me you're not eating..." You added.
Taylor was surprised when you suggested eating out, but she was feeling hungry. You were right, she had been neglecting her diet due to her emotional state, so a meal would definitely help. With a wide smile on her face, she agreed.
“Yes, let’s go.” she said as she grabbed her handbag from the countertop. She turned towards you and took your hand, ready to leave the house with you.
You two walked out together, hand-in-hand, the sun glinting off of your hair. You both felt so much better now that the tension between you had cleared away.
You were still in love with each other and there was nothing either of you wanted more than to spend time together.
You walked down the street (Cornelia Street??), enjoying each other’s company and enjoying the warm summer air in the air. Neither of you wanted this moment to end.
Hi Krisha here, I got nothing in my mind for the past 7 days😭 this is what I got for now...
