Powers: Her main power is the ability to Shapeshift, embodying the ever-changing phases of the moon. This is mainly limited to animals or giving her form animalistic traits. Something else she's known for is Blood Magic. Examples of this are Manipulating and Shaping blood outside of the body, Healing using blood currently outside of a body, and minor blood related rituals. One that she keeps secret is her ability to Obscure things. This can include herself, her surroundings, and even conversations. It's like the fantasy genre's Glimmer but basically the opposite. Instead of being used to make her seem bigger, prettier, and more seen, she uses it to hide.
Personality: Rae is very cold around basically everyone. She rarely shows emotion, and it's often said her face looks like it was chiseled out of stone. The only times her expression changes is when she's examining a servant for transfer or when some unlucky soul provokes her wrath. She doesn't hesitate when someone slips up in front of her guests, and her nickname is well earned. Sometimes she even has brutal public executions on her land.
Background: Not many know much about where Rae comes from. Some think she simply appeared out of the blue and rose to the top by usurping lesser known High Fae. Some think she's an older Fae, one that's been slumbering for centuries and has only now awoken. Then things get ridiculous. Others think she may be from the Moon itself, or some other world entirely. Rumors abound about her being a Lesser Fae, or even a human, once, and the way she acquired her power and status is through a deal with an entity of unknown origins. She's never confirmed or denied any if these theories. A very big rumor is that she made up her own name, and she tends to end conversations that lead to asking about it. Rae Nocturna has no family that's known of, and she does not have a Mate. She has expressed that matters of the flesh do not interest her, and any suitor stupid enough to press her buttons gets what's coming to them. A last important rumor is that she uses Blood Magic to control her human servants.

Trivia:
-Her favorite thing to Shapeshift into is a black cat with a forked tail. Very few people know this, as it's the form she often takes when she wants privacy or anonymity. She may also take this form or similar ones to spy on the other High Fae of the Night Court.-
-Most of her servants wear bandages or have scars on their arms and hands, as it is "a painful punishment they have to spend a long time recovering from" and makes sure what they did doesn't repeat.-
-At her large estate, she has numerous rooms full of things. Some are music rooms full of instruments. Some are training rooms full of weapons. She occasionally throws parties in the many open and empty ballrooms. The room she personally spends the most time in is the Observatory.-
Secrets:
Her most closely guarded secret is her sympathy for the humans. She's always felt sorry for them, and has waited too long for the courts to change their ways. Rae intends to now be the change she wants to see, but she has to do it in secret until she reaches the top or until The Burning comes to fruition.
Rae uses her Blood Magic to heal her servants while they're asleep. She doesn't do it fully to avoid suspicion, but just enough so she feels like their suffering is lessened. If a servant does something that she finds irreparably damaging, she will do a public "execution". This means she will kill them quickly beforehand, make the corpse convincingly alive, and tear it limb from limb like a wild animal.
She feels the most free when she's running barefoot through a forest under a full moon.
Her hidden personality is bouncy, childlike, and naive. She wants the courts to get along and treat humans as friends. Rae used to have a human friend who was the closest person she had to family, but he died many years ago. Her true theme song is "A Million Dreams" cover by P!nk.
