"Don! How ya feeling?"

"That depends on whatchu got for me, Art."

"Haven't quite found him, but there's a few leads."

"What type of leads?"

"Think we figured out the school he's in. Haven't been able to locate who he stays with or where exactly," the customer nodded, at least he was going to school.

"Any pictures?" He asked.

"Yeah, we got a few shots of him and we'll know what he's up to by the end of the week."

Artie agreed to drop them off by the end of the week that way he could tell if it was little Johnnie or not. De wanted to be sure before he gave Justine an update.

Once he freed the line, the next call was to his assistant.

"Yooo Co' what it do? A nigga needs you to do me a solid." he said once she picked up the phone.

"What's up, De?"

"I need a free day at the end of each month from now on aight? I don't want nothing planned. No meetings, studio sessions, appointments, you feel me?"

"Uhhh okay. You mind me asking why?" She inquired.

"I got some shit to handle around that time, nosy ass. Just make sure you do that for me, aight? It has to happen no negotiations."

"You're the boss!" She replied, making him smirk.

"You damn right! Let's make this month the 27th, we good?"

"We're great."

"Preciate you, girl! Enjoy the rest of your day. I'll hit you in the am." He said before hanging up.

With that checked off his list, the determined man pulled out his notebook filled with law firms contact information that had been curated by his assistant.

Picking one marked with a star, the phone rested between his head and shoulder. After three rings, he was met with the receptionist.

"Good afternoon, I'm Don. I'm in need of a defense attorney." He put on his best sophisticated voice.

"Of course, Don. You've come to the right place! I'll just put you on a brief hold for a second if that's alright." Her accent was distinctive, sounded like she was from Milwaukee and he didn't like it.

"Of course, thank you." He replied picking with his nails. If all went well, hopefully he'd have a lawyer for Tig by the time he went to visit later in the month.

"Mr.Don, this is Becca before I send you to a lawyer do you feel comfortable providing some details about the case?"

"Yeah uh, my friend is currently incarcerated and I need someone that knows their way around the legal battlefield. Y'know what I mean?" His hand ran down the nape of his neck.

"I understand. Let me connect you with Attorney Johnson. He specializes in criminal defense."

"Good afternoon, Don. I'm Attorney Johnson. I heard you're in need of legal representation. Could you share some specifics about the case?"

"Like I told the receptionist, it's a murder charge, and I need someone who's not afraid to go the extra mile for their client. "

"We're experienced in handling complex cases. I'd like to schedule a consultation to discuss this in further detail. When are you available?"

"Great, I appreciate you man. Imma have my assistant call and set up the appointment. I appreciate your time" he spoke as he circled the law firm on his list.
