"Morning auntie Bex." Marjorie smiled

The tension was thick making Marjorie awkwardly eat her food as quietly as she could, it was obvious that Rebekah was pissed about Elijah and Hayley. Then there was Klaus who was sitting there with his normal smirk on his face acting as if nothing was wrong.

"Have you spoken to our good friend Marcel today?" Klaus asked breaking the silence

"No, should I have?" Rebekah asked, obviously playing dumb

"He's been mysteriously silent-- avoiding me, some might say. I thought perhaps he may have whispered reasons into your ear. Along with all of those sweet nothings." Klaus smirked making Marjorie grimace

"If I see him, I'll be sure to ask if he's still sore at you." Rebekah responded

"Let me give a voice to that look in your eyes. "My saintly noble brother lies writhing in agony in the Bayou, victim of my bastard brother's bite, when just one or two drops of his blood would ease his pain."" Klaus mocked Rebekah making her shoot him an unamused smile

"On the contrary, Nik, I am simply enjoying my brekkie with my darling niece, waiting for Elijah's healthy return." Rebekah said eating a grape off her plate

"Oh, come on Rebekah, you've been giving me the devil's eye all morning. Out with it!" Klaus said impatiently

"Perhaps I'm concerned that if I voice my opinion about what you did to Elijah, I will end up on the wrong side of your toxic hybrid teeth." Rebekah admitted making Marjorie look at her sympathetically

"Poppycock! I would never bite you. Elijah made some very offensive accusations about my intentions towards Marjorie and the baby. He deserves a day or two of discomfort. Besides, you know my preferred method of punishment for your indiscretions is the dagger." Klaus grinned amused making Marjorie sigh and shake her head while Rebekah just smirks as she stands up from her seat

"There is something fundamentally wrong with you. I have no idea how Marjorie is your child." Rebekah spat before storming out of the room leaving the father and daughter alone

"I think that went well." Klaus said making Marjorie shoot him a look

"Oh yeah. Very well." Marjorie said sarcastically before turning back to her food

"So. I was thinking that I could teach you some stuff today after breakfast." Klaus said and Marjorie looked at him excitedly

"Really, I mean aren't you busy?" Marjorie asked and Klaus waved her off

"I'm never too busy for you. Finish up then meet me outside in the yard." Klaus said and Marjorie nodded in excitement

Marjorie quickly ate the rest of her breakfast, she was sure her stomach would hate her later but right now she was too excited to care. She wasn't sure what Klaus was going to teach her today but anything was better than nothing.

She was proud of the way she was able to defend herself against Tyler, but also knew that she wouldn't stand a chance against someone who was smarter and older. Like most of her families enemies.

When she walked outside she was surprised to see her dad standing in the middle of the backyard holding a handgun with a large target set up.
