Ethan walked into Mrs Johnson's class, sighing as he was not excited to be scolded for something stupid once again.
He ran his fingers through his hair, taking a seat as everyone else entered the class. He looked over at Mrs Johnson, watching as she looked at her chrome book with that same old scowl on her face.
After the announcements, Mrs Johnson lifted her head to look at the class.
"Good morning." The class stayed silent, so she repeated her words with a look of expectation on her face.
The class responded with a good morning before waiting for the instructions.
"You guys will be taking note over chapter 54 in your books." She pursed her lips, watching as they all got up to grab there books besides these two girls who asked someone to grab theirs.
Ethan, noticing his Chromebook wasn't turning on, looked around to ask people for a charger.
"Kylie do you have a charger?" He whispered to the girl next to him, her shaking her head in response.
He looked over at his friend, Garret. "Garret do you have a charger?"
"Nah man it's in my locker." He spoke as he played with his long straight greasy hair.
He then looked at the girl beside him, who eyes and face were red and couldn't stop smiling.
Before he could ask, Mrs Johnson's scolding voice was heard.
"Ethan what did I say about having a charged Chromebook?" Her face had a disappointed expression.
"Its not my fault I was in pass all day yesterday!" He defensively said, trying to get her to be understanding, but the disappointed look on her face made him feel a bit ashamed, but he couldn't explain why.
"Just do your notes." She sternly said, looking back at her laptop.
He nodded, looking over at Kylie. "Hey can you go get me a book?"
Two unoticable laughs were shared in the back.
Mrs. Johnson tilted her head, clicking her tongue with an irritated look on her face. "Ethan go to the office?"
Ethan's face dropped, causing Mrs. Johnson to feel a little bad, not that she'd ever show it.
"Are you serious?" He asked, genuinely confused as to why he had to go to the office. But he saw the look on woman's face and sighed, grabbing his stuff and walking out of the class room.
The two (very high) students laughing silently as he left.
