Part 14 - Until Next Time

Start from the beginning

"Keep wishing that" you say loudly and step away from the door.

This time it's both of you that are laughing, not just Jeffrey. And that smile on your face stayed there for the whole time you were getting ready for breakfast, where you joined Jeffrey, who was already taking sips out of his coffee.

"You look refreshed" he decides to tease you.

"Thank you" you lean down, kiss his cheek and brush his arm with your hand before you take a seat close to him.

"I took the lead and ordered some more food. Someone was taking too long to join" he smirks.

"Maybe that someone realised that 20 minutes weren't enough after all" you blush.

"I knew that. This is why I ordered after the first 15 minutes" he fills a cup with coffee for you, prepares it just as you like it, and brings it in front of you.

"Thank you" you smile.

"You're welcome, your highness" he joins your joyful mood.

That breakfast ended up being full of laughter and comfort. You both know you might not see each other in person for a while after her leaves today but none of you brings it up to being the mood down. You didn't let it ruin your breakfast and you definitely didn't let it ruin lunch. Although, you couldn't stop it from bringing the mood down when he had to drive you back to the house with his motorcycle.

"I will find some time to visit you next month" he says softly, standing right in front of your body.

"I know how busy you are, don't worry" you take his hands in yours and brush them with your thumbs.

"Promise me you'll keep having fun here" he says thoughtfully.

"You know I'm well taken care of here" you have to bite your tongue to hide your excitement.

"I know and I couldn't be happier" he nods and kisses your forehead.

You share a romantic moment where you silently stay in each other's arms. You just want to get a good feel of how each other feels before you miss those touches for a few weeks.

"Should we go upstairs and say our goodbyes with Robert?" Jeffrey asks.

"Are you a mind reader?" you chuckle, agreeing with him.

You walk inside the house together and go on Robert's floor. You walk around a bit until you find him in his bedroom, finishing up his fancy looking outfit.

"What are you two doing here?" he seems confused.

"I'm leaving, thought it would be appropriate to say goodbye" Jeffrey says.

"Oh, is it time already?" Robert cuffs his cufflinks.

"Yeah, it was good catching up with you again" Jeffrey approaches him.

"Yes, it was" Robert nods with approval.

"I'll see you around. We're definitely not losing touch this time" Jeffrey offers his hand.

"Definitely not" Robert shakes his hand and smiles.

"Glad to hear the two of you are staying close" you smile proudly.

"We know who we have to thank for that" Jeffrey wraps his arm around your back.

"My pleasure, gentlemen" you smirk.

"Why are you dressed like that?" Jeffrey asks him.

"I have an event to attend. Do you keep forgetting that I actually work?" Robert chuckles.

"To be honest, the fact that you work isn't the first thing that comes to mind when I think of you" Jeffrey smiles appealingly.

"No one thinks of work when they think of me" Robert winks.

"I, personally, don't even believe that you call going to events work" you tease him.

"Maybe you need to see it up close one day and then you'll believe it" Robert answers.

"Is that an invitation?" you ask with excitement.

"Yes, but not for tonight. You're welcome to come and watch me work another time" he replies.

"Do you really mean that?" you ask when he turns his back and looks himself in the mirror.

"No, because there's no non-suspicious way of explaining something like that to your father" Robert replies seriously.

"Fair enough" you agree.

After a few more words, you and Jeffrey let Robert get ready for his event and go back outside. You share another goodbye and another kiss before he wears his helmet and gets on top of his motorcycle.

"I'm never getting tired of that sight" you express your true feelings to him.

"Good thing I'm not going to stop doing it then" he says proudly.

"I love you" you rest your hand on his shoulder kindly.

"I love you, too, baby" he rests his hand over yours and caresses it.

"Drive safely" you say sweetly.

"Always" he nods, "I'll call you when I'm back home" he adds.

You take his hand in yours, squeeze it tightly to show each other one more time how much you care for one another, and then he starts his loud long trip back home.
