Pokemon (Anime) 2:

Start from the beginning

Inko: (Your mother)

You and your mother had been living by yourselves in Kanto ever since you remember.

Apparently your father just up and left one day, though you never let it bother you.

Inko didn't seem to want to talk about it so you never pried her for any info.

You were both happy and you had a dream.

The stories your mother told you inspired you to want to become just like the many heroes in those books.

A knight who is to be respected and recognized or a king, something like that.

You were ambitious and you were determined to achieve your dream.

So you decided when you came if age you'd go on your own Pokemon journey and become a champion.

Inko was of course hesitant to do this, as a mother she of course didn't want you to go out and possibly lose you to the harsh world.

But you reassured her you'd be fine and unlike your father you'd keep in touch with her and promisee you'd come back eventually.

You were always a boy who kept your word and so Inko put her faith in you and allowed you to go off.

However, when it was time, you had overslept.

You were a helpful person and you spent most of the day helping others around Pallet Town with various chores and tasks.

And right before the day you were to set off you overdid it and overslept.

In a panic you got up and ran over to the Professor who would hand you your starter hoping that there was one left.

You entered the lab and Professor Oak was there.

Professor Oak:

You asked if there were any Starters left and he unfortunately said no.

Hearing this filled you with despair and you asked if he had any other kind of Pokemon to give you and the professor said he did have one though it was a bit problematic.

You said you'd take it, anything and so the professor reluctantly gave in and let you have the Mon.

Opening the Pokeball you were met with a Pokemon you had never seen before.
