Havent seen you in ages

Emilee's POV:

I finally took a vacation to Colorado as I'm on break for my college term , fall time is as great as ever, but just a little introduction hi! I'm Emilee Comers I am from a little town from Indiana and I'm going to college to be a photographer and I'm 21 years old I am best friends with the paranormal people such as Sam and Colby, and the medium Amanda.

Amanda and Colby have been my best friends since we were little kids, I grew up with Colby in Kindergarten and Amanda was my next door neighbor we three where the bestest of friends until as we grew older some of us grew apart some of us grew closer eventually Colby met Sam and Colby introduced me to Sam, weird to think that Sam might had a little crush on me before he met Katrina, she was beautiful and smart of course I felt I was just the smart one and not that pretty.

A few years later I get a text from the man himself (the picture above)  he texts me about wanting to hang out at the Stanley hotel my face became red and my heart began to beat and I smiled like an idiot, I've had a crush on Colby since we were in elementary school, but I'm glad he remembers me cause I hate that our friendship went out the door.

But as soon as I texted Colby back we agreed to meet at a nice restaurant to meet up and let each other know when we were on the way, we agreed to meet at 7 pm so we can get ready for this over night stay, I packed my bag for the over night stay, I made sure I was clean and presented (the outfit above), I looked at myself in the mirror and thought "I wonder how Colby looks,I bet he's doing good for himself".

-1 hour later-

I get a text from Colby:

C: hey me and Sam are on our way, can't wait to see you it's been forever :)

E: right? I'm on my way as well see you soon :)

I turn off my phone and head to the car and started it and drove to the restaurant, as I pull up and got out I was looking for Sam or at least Colby I look around and I couldn't see them anywhere and then I felt somebody wrap there arms around I turn around to see Colby's cute face resting on my shoulders smiling a big smile, you can honestly tell he was very much excited to see me.

We smile and giggled and gave each other the biggest hugs anyone has ever hugged, he looked great so did Sam I gave him a big hug as well and we walked in the restaurant luckily Sam made the reservation and we three sat at the table and ordered our drinks.

Colby looked at me so long and stared at me for who knows how long, I eventually look up and see him avoiding eye contact and looks back at the menu, so did I and i broke the silence "so Colby  how have you been" he nods trying to avoid to being awkward after what he just did "I'm great me and Sam have been exploring some abandoned places and now about to investigate the Stanley hotel!"

I nodded "that's nice!" He nods "yep....how about you?" I keep looking at the choices on the menu "oh I'm good been in college to study photography!" They both looked up and smiled "wow Em that's great, why are you in Colorado though?" I laugh "vacation but now that I'm going with you guys this vacation gets better!" We all nodded and agreed and finally ordered our  food and we talked to catch up.

3 hours later,

I finally drive up to the Stanley hotel right behind Sam and Colby and parked right next to them they start grabbing their equipment to start making their video for them YouTube channel. They have alot of fans after doing my research they are up to a lot after doing the conjuring house, so I grabbed my stuff and set it next to the car they wanted me to be in their video so they couldn't see my stuff I stood in the middle between Sam and Colby,

Sam: HI GUYS WELCOME TO OUR YOUTUBE CHANNEL AND WE HAVE A VERY SPECIAL GUEST!

Colby: Very special *as he is smiling*

Sam: Everyone welcome Emilee as she joins the crew!

They both shout excitedly and me shouting as well.

Sam: tonight we are going to be spending the night in the Stanley hotel and maybe do the Estes method, so stay tuned you don't wanna miss it.

He continues to vlog as we talk and make our way into the hotel we get very vital information about this place, plus telling us the shining was started right here, as we get up to our room we get all things together and Sam gets a text, it was from some guy named Cory and Jake apparently they are also joining in with the spooky adventure.

We wait for there arrival and finally get there and Sam introduces me to them I say hi and we finally get started as we here noises from outside of the room as Cory goes to check it out, nobody there and we all start to freak out, as I'm standing there I felt a cold hand touch the back of my neck and I began to freak out a little they all look at me including Colby really concerned, "Em hey what happened?" I shake a little "someone touched me I felt it!" He takes my hand and holds it to calm me down and everyone starts oooing and I look at them and back at Colby and I smile and blush.

He does the same and as soon as I calm down we finally let go of each other and finished with the investigation.

Night passed and it was time to go to bed of course I had carried an air mattress to sleep on so that way it wouldn't be sketchy, we all got ready for bed as Colby was shirtless and I was blushing very hard I wore a two piece silk pajamas and I could tell Colby was staring and he was blushing just as much, we eventually fell asleep.

2 hours later

I am having a nightmare and I'm sweating and then I jolt up scared as I begin to cry , Colby hears me and gets up and walks to me and sits next to me and pulls me in a hug comforting me, "hey what's wrong?" I stutter as I still cry "I-it was about you, you got possessed and I couldn't stop it..." he hugs me tightly "hey it's ok I'm always gonna be protected especially by the ones I love who love me back" as he grabs my cheeks and caresses them and kisses my forehead "look I know we are gonna get serious looks but I really don't care but how about you sleep with me tonight?" I nod without hesitation cause honestly I was scared.

So he picks me up bridal style and gently puts me on my side and he climbs in and he cuddles me after he covers me up and we fall asleep in each others arms until sunrise.
