"Jake please you have to believe me" I begged with tears streaming down my face.
"get out" he says coldly "I never want to see you again. From now on you mean nothing to me."
"But I didn't do it" I said trying to convince him.
He smiled coldly his eyes giving nothing away. "do you really think I'm such a fool that I'll let you manipulate me again? never again."
I looked into his eyes hoping to see something anything that'll give me hope that the man I love is in there somewhere. I stared for a minute. two. But there was nothing. He didn't believe me.
I felt my heart shatter."You will discover the truth one day but by then it will be too late because I won't be waiting for you"
He stared right through me. "leave" he said coldly. Like I really meant nothing to him.
Seeing there was nothing more for me to say, I turned and left his home leaving the tattered remains of my heart behind
