Hinata meets a weird girl in the forest

Hinata wondered how did she end up in this situation, she was only supposed to go in the forest, get her lost volleyball and then leave

SO HOW DID SHE END UP LOST IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WOODS?!


"shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, sh-" Hinata kept muttering as she sat down under a tree


Why did she accept to play volleyball with her little brother, why did she accept to go get the ball when her little brother accidentally threw it in the woods, why did she have so much trouble finding it, WHY WAS THIS HAPPENING?!

"Just calm down, Shou, everything will be okay, you're just in the forest, and remember what dad said, 'how far can you walk into the woods?', so as long as you go straight forward, you'll find a way out eventually!" Hinata spoke to herself with a nervous smile

She stood up and began walking forward, thinking about how furious her dad would be when he found out that she got lost in the woods and how mad her brother would be when he saw that she hadn't found the volleyball

well, they could always buy another one

She kept walking but then stopped abruptly when she heard what seemed to be a small explosion close by

"DAMN IT!" A voice screamed, it looked to be close to the small explosion, it sounded like a girls voice, the voice was deep but still high enough to sound like a girls

Hinata got excited by hearing another sign of life, 'so i'm not alone in this hellhole!' She thought as she began walking in the direction of the voice, 'maybe they know a way out'

When she got closer she saw a tall girl wearing a weird blue witch costume, Well, it was October, so maybe she was going to a Halloween party?

"URGH! STUPID SPELLS! STUPID POTIONS! STUPID WAND!" The girl screamed and threw what appeared like a staff at a tree stump

Shou noticed that the girl seemed very angry so she decided to stay quiet and hide behind some bushes she calmed down

Hinata began looking at the girl and her stuff, she was tall and had deep black hair, Shou felt that if she stared at it for too long she would begin seeing stars, she also had dark blue eyes that looked like two fresh blueberries, 'pretty' Shou couldn't help but think

She then began looking at the girls stuff, there was a dark blue bag under a tree and the wooden staff that she had just threw at the tree stump, the staff had a carving of a cat on top of it, 'cute'

the tall girl walked towards the tree stump and began kicking it angrily "STUPID ELDER TREE! STUPID BROTHER! STUPID SPELL THAT I'VE BEEN TRYING TO DO FOR TWO FUCKING HOURS!"

'Okay, maybe not that pretty... Or cute...' The ginger girl thought

The cat carving on top of the staff began moving and it quickly turned into a real cat, it was a big black cat with dark gray eyes, Hinata was frozen in place 'What. the. hell.'

The cat jumped off from the staff and walked towards the witch girl and grabbed her staff with its mouth

"Miss Tomiko, please calm down, it is not the trees fault that this spell is so difficult" The cat spoke with a calm tone

'WHAT. THE. HELL.' Shou thought, weird witch outfit, weird explosion sound, weird staff, weird cat, weird TALKING cat, 'WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!'

"URGH!" The witch girl, who now Shou knew was named Tomiko, grabbed the staff and stopped kicking the tree as she sat down on the floor with a huff "BUT THIS SUCKS! EVERYTHING SUCKS!"

"I know, miss Tomiko, but still, you shouldn't worry about stuff like this" the cat walked closer to the witch girl and rubbed its head on her legs, Tomiko smiled and began petting the cat

"Alright..." she spoke with a calmer tone "it's just... I hate this stupid stuff... These stupid spells I'm never going to use and yet I need to learn them over and over again, like, why can't I ever learn cool spells? Like turning a person into a frog or poisoning apples?"

'BECAUSE THEY ARE CLEARLY NOT GOOD!' Shou thought, she was getting more nervous the more time she spent watching the scene, she wanted to flee but she was scared that the girl would notice her

"I just want them to see I'm not a little girl anymore, I'm already 15! That's the age where witches begin learning the cool spells! And yet I don't know anything!" Tomiko crossed her arms "Why can't you just teach me, Ono?"

"Because, miss Tomiko, I am not allowed to, and if mister Miyu thinks you shouldn't learn those spells now, then i can't do anything" the cat simply stretched her legs tiredly

Shou could see that the girl and her 'cat'? if you could even call it that, were distracted, so she decided to try and make her escape without being noticed

But sadly, Shou is a dumb clutz who was not aware of her surroundings and who ended up stepping on a dry leaf, making a loud cracking sound which made the girl and the cat immediately look in her direction

Tomiko stood up and raised her arm, her staff quickly moving and finding her hand while the cat jumped into her shoulder

The smaller girl instantly began running in the opposite direction, not even caring if she would get even more lost and only caring about not being found by any weird witch girls

She abruptly stopped her running as a dark figure showed up in front of her out of nowhere, making her fall to the ground on her butt with a thud, Shou looked up and saw the black haired girl standing on her staff that was slightly hovering in the air

Tomiko jumped down from her staff and stood in front of the ginger girl, looking down at her with her cold blue eyes, the black cat still sitting on her shoulders and looking at Shou with a look that told her to be careful with what she was going to do next

The staff quickly moved to Tomiko's hand, and with a scoff she pointed it towards Shou's face "Who are you and what are you doing in my forest?" The tip of the staff began glowing with a bright blue light "Answer it honestly and quickly"


Shou couldn't help but once again wonder 'HOW DID I END UP IN THIS SITUATION?!'
