Chapter 1: Introduction

The first thing Muichiro hears when he wakes up is his alarm. He is not very happy today because it is his first day at a new school. New friends new teachers the whole deal. Not that he had many friends at his old school his only friend was his twin, until the incident. Today is a new day though all he has to remember is you can do this.

Muichiro pov,

When i woke up all I could think about was my new school, will the people be nice? Will I make a friend? All these thoughts were racing through my head but I had no time to waste. I went to the kitchen and started making myself breakfast. Today I just made pancakes and eggs, I was too tired to make more but they were still yummy. Then I heard my dad coming down. It was not like I was scared or anything he has just been, different since the incident.

As my dad sat down at the table I held my breath. He was silent, didn't say a word. I placed a plate of pancakes in front of him. He looked at it for a moment and then begin to eat it. I was shocked normally he just looks at it then leaves for work, but today he ate it. Then he left without saying a word. 

Still stunned by the matter of my dad I ate my pancakes and checked my phone. It was still 7:00 and I don't have to leave for school until 8:00. So I watched my favorite show until 7:45. Then i grabbed my backpack and all of my books. I walked to the door about to leave when i saw my brother's favorite pin. It is just a pin of a crow flying but he loved it. He always wore it on his jacket. I grabbed it and pinned it on my shirt. I took a deep breath and walked out the door.

Today i left a little early so maybe i could make a couple friends. Soon I was nearing the school and i heard someone yell. "HEY!!" I assumed that they didn't mean me so I kept walking but then i heard it again. "HEY YOU WITH THE BLACK HAIR AND BLUE ENDS!" At that point i knew he was talking to me and I turned around to see a boy around my age in a green shirt running up to me.

"Hey are you new here?" The boy asked while panting. I simply said "yes?" And I turned to walk away but then ... "well in that case my name is Tanijro, and your name is?" He said all of a sudden. "Muichiro, that's my name" The boy, Tanjiro asked with a smile. "Muichiro do you want to meet my friends?"

For the second time today I was shocked and I know he could tell. He wanted me, the new kid to meet his friends. "Are you sure?" I asked a little confused. "Yes, of course" He said as he grabbed my arm and dragged me to the school yard. Soon we approached a group of people. Tanjiro said "Hello guys, this is Muichiro. He is new to our school" A girl with a long black pony tail came up to me and said."Hello my name is Kannao, nice to meet you." Then two more boys introduced themselves as Zenitsu and Inosuke. "This is my sister Aoi" Kannao said with a smile. " Our friend Genya isn't here today, but I am sure he will be happy to meet you." Zenitsu said while walking towards the door. 

As I walked to the door I was happy to have met new people. I was ready for my first day of school. I was also wondering who this Genya kid is.
