Chapter 3: Weird Combination of people

"Anne? I will go to the comfort room muna bakakasi biglang dumating yung next prof natin" " Ok sure" Anne is my seatmate, she is lovely and veryfeminine I like her vibes. Maagang natapos yung first subject namin, the professor just introduced us to the subject, then he ended the class because of may emergency siyang lakad. Merong pa natirang time for that subject, and I used it as an opportunity na maka punta sa comfort room kanina pa ako pigil na pigil na umihi. I did not take long to use the comfort room baka kasi maagang dumating yung next professor. I don't want to be late. Dahil nga nagmamadali ako so that I would not be late, I did not bother to look at the mirror in the comfort room. I straightaway walked fast out of the comfort room. As I walked, I picked up a glance at my blouse and noticed na one of my buttons was slowly loosening 0_____0 I slightly panic because that button is in my chest area. OMG, I try to fix it while I am still walking and do not mind the possibility that na may mabangga ako kasi hindi ako tuminitingin sa dinadaanan ko, but I am more concerned kasi instead of fixing this stupid button, it is totally loose. OMG what am I ganno d---- "OUCCCCH" I bump SOMETHING, NO, I bump SOMEONE. This is the possibility that I mentioned earlier, tsssskkk well, it is my fault. "OMG, I am so sor------ YOU????" What a lucky day sa laki ba naman ng Pilipinas dito pa nag aaral tong JERK THEFT -____- "Oh, what a coincidence, Miss Warfreak, Hi." IGNOREEEE, this is the best solution. "HI." After I said that, I was about to walk past him, but he quickly grabbed my arm and put me back where I was standing. I raised my one eyebrow and asked, "What do you want??" Instead of responding, he walked towards me, leaving a 2 inch gap between my body and his. I barely breathe because I don't want him to smell it; nakakainis, I don't want to fight him; I want a peaceful life here in my new school. I looked at him and found him smirking. I just blankly starred at his eyes. "You want to say something? Nakalimotan mo ata ginawa mo sa akin the other day? " Oh, how will I forget that? That was the first time in my life I forgot to act as a woman. "You want me to say sorry to you after what I did in the mall? Well, NEVER" I straightly look into his eyes while saying that. He raises both eyebrows and smiles at me. What a filthy person! "Oh, don't be stubborn, darling, magpasalamat ka may little boy is alive and kicking." WHAT A FILTHY PERSON -_____- I angrily look at him but I remember what mom said ok ALICE CHIN UP INHALE EXHALE REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE A CLASSY WOMAN THEN WALK OUT FROM THE SCENE for the second attempt I try to walk passed at him but this time he harshly grab my arm and put me back again at where I was standing, he tightly hold my arm BOTH OF MY ARMS "It hurting me, this is considered a sexual harassment, I can expel you if I want, now bitawan moko" He smirk and slowly letting my arms go "haha, you're new here. You don't know me, Miss Warfreak. You cannot expel me easily. Now it's my turn. If you will not say sorry to me, I will make you experience what hell is." Oh I'm not threatened. I still try to stay calm, but oh, never mind. I step forward. My lips and his lips are one inch apart. I see him smiling. I look at his eyes. Using my doe eyes, I can see the excitement in his eyes. I slightly smile. I touch his chin " Ok, I will say it na, So---------AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH FUCK" " DON'T MAKE ME ANGRY!!!!" I immediately ran away, leaving him moaning from the headbath that I made. I can slowly feel the pain in my forehead, and I am sure na pula pulang na ito, it is very noticeable because my skin tone is pale white ahhhhhhhh what reason I will tell to my classmates? Ammmm, I bump into the door of the comfort room or--------- OUCH! 0______0 oh c'mon for the second time I bump someone, "I'm so sorry, COUZ????" Sa dami daming kong mabanga in this situation, pinsan ko pa -_____- "what happened to your forehead? Napaka pula did you bump something?" Oh no, what reason should I saaaayyyy? Hmmmm, think Alice think "Ahhhhh I bump something-------------" "Excuse me miss" 0_____0 I immediately look at the man calling me. Shit, it's jerk theft, and his forehead is also red. It is obvious because he has a light skin tone. Carlo looked at me with an intrigued look and raised his eyebrow. I gave him a fake smile. "I think you lost something, miss." I look at this jerk and find he is holding my button. Oh shittttttt I can feel the change of mood in the surroundings. "Are you sure, Mr. SANCHEZ that it belongs to Alice?" I am quite nervous because of the change of tone, ni Carlo. I can hear the irritation in his voice. I look at this jerk, and he is smirking. "Oh hi, Mr. Gutierrez! so her name is Alice. Is she is your girlfriend?" I bet they know each other. "You need to answer my question, Mr. Sanchez. Are you sure kay Alice ba yang batones na yan?" "Yeah, it's mine, that is the reason why I bumped sa door ng comfort room sa kahahanap ng batones nayan." I immediately grab the button sa kamay ni jerk. "Thank you." I brightly smile at this jerk, and it is very disgusting. I just make sure na maniniwala talaga si Carlo, and I hope sumakay tong jerk nato. "Are you sure? Nothing else happened? Or did Mr. Sanchez do something to you?" Carlo glared at him. "Of course nothing happened between us." "Haha, relax, Mr. Gutierrez. Napakaseloso mo naman atyaka, I am a gentleman. I will not touch a woman without her permission." I saw Carlo's hand forming into a fist, oh nooooo not now on my first day. Do something alice do some---- "Okay, may you go now Mr. Sanchez, thank you for giving back the button to Alice." Wow, what a patient man couz "Sure, see you around, Miss Alice." he winks at me, blows a kiss, and completely vanishes from my sight. WHAT REALLY A JERK -____- "Now tell me the truth, Miss ALICE??" shittttt I look at him and make a confusing face. "Stop acting para kang tanga." I grasp, really stupid? I guess he did not take the bait. "We met in the mall the other day, we had a little misunderstanding, then today we met outside in the comfort room while finding my lost button, and I did notice na may hinahanap din siya, so I bumped at him." I will never tell him about my masculine actions. "you sure? "I look at him straightly. "SURE." Carlo looks at me straightly. "For your information couz, Stefano is a professional playboy." "Is it obvious?" Carlo just laughed. "And for your information, hindi natin siya ka department, he is an agricultural student." What? "Then why he is here?" "That's why I am asking you the truth, baka kasi ikaw yung new hook up niya? Hahaha" "For God's sake, Carlo! I know my worth." I know my worth, and from the first day I met Mr. Sanchez Nayan, I knew he was a total playboy. "I believe you, and don't be associated with him or sa mga friends niya they are not good for you, in fact I am the only one who is good for you here." I raised my eyebrow. "Oh, really? Let's see then, haha." "I am serious. Anyway, pack your things. Let's grab some lunch" "Excuse me? I have still the last subject for this morning." "I know, but naka out of the country si Mr. Ponce next week pa yung balik niya." ow good haha, I grab my things and we head towards the cafeteria. Walking distance lang naman ang cafeteria, but we choose to ride a bike. The cafeteria is a two-story building masyadong malaki for a cafeteria It looks like a grocery store. As we enter, I am very amazed at how organized they are, and I notice that here in the first floor, puro fast food chain lahat very unhealthy "Couz? It is very unhealthy here. " "Haha, I know, so let's go to the second floor." I am more amazed here on the second floor; it is occupied by different kinds of restaurants. It is so organized. "Now, what do you want? " "Fruits and vegetable salad." I see a restaurant that is full of healthy food, more likely salads. I go there and sit. I notice that hindi sumunod si Carlo. He was just standing outside ng restaurant. I signaled him to enter, he signed and immediately entered and sat down in front of me. The waiter approached us and asked our order, "Ammm, can I have one tomato avocado salad, please? How about you couz?" "Couz, can we take that out? Actually, may ipapakilala ako sayo, but they are in the other restaurant, and they are not a fan of healthy foods, so am I haha." What a bunch of unhealthy people, and sino naman tong mga ipapakilala niya, "Oh sure, we will just take it out, miss, thank you, and couz who are they? " "They are my friends, so that if I am busy, my sasama sayu dito, and don't worry, they are very nice people." Ok, as long as they are not jerks nor untidy, after a few minutes, my order arrived, and we immediately went to the restaurant kung saan naghihintay ang mga kaibigan ni carlo, and carlo went to the table, who was occupied by two ladies, LADIES? I am very confused as I approach these two ladies. They welcome me with a bright smile and a poker face. "Magandang araw magandang binibini, masaya akong makilala ka. Ako nga pala si Abril Mayo Aliviado." Oh, she is very Filipino; she is lively, smiling up to the ear; she is morena and has medium black hair; she has an arched eyebrow, a small button nose, almond eyes, and thin lips that smile brightly. She is very cute; we have the same height. "Hi, Abril Mayo? Not April May? She pouted, "Abril Mayo, hindi April May at hindi ako ang sasalita nag wikang Ingles, wikang Filipino lamang." "But I believe you understand English very well? " "Haha oo, pero hindi ako nag sasalita ng Ingles" I look at Carlo, asking for some explanation or what, pero tinawanan lang niya ako shit, what a useless person. I look back at Abril, displaying a sign of confusion in my face, but I think she did not understand it. "Her family is a devoted Filipino; they love the language and country more than anyone here in the Philippines. You can freely speak English when you talk to her. By the way, I am Nikki Nicole Frias. Nice to meet you, Alice." So her name is Nikki Nicole; she is the one who welcomed me with a poker face. She has a resting bored face; we have the same skin tone, pale white; she has a thick, soft-angled eyebrow; a straight pointed nose; hooded eyes; and bowed-shaped lips. She is 2 inches taller than me. She is gorgeous but unapproachable. "Hi Nikki," she just look at me as a response and back to what she is doing.  "Pasensya kana Alice hindi kasi ako marnunong magbasa ng mukha hihi." " It's ok, Abril." We smiled. "Ok, lets order na, kanina pa ako nagugutom," said Carlo while holding his stomach. They immediately ordered, and after a few minutes, dumating na yong order. Before kaming kumain I give them a hand sanitizer and napkins. A proper etiquette in the table. I can see in their face the confusion. "For cleanliness and health propose," Abril and Nikki just both nod while si carlo naman ay napatawa at napailing. "Why are you laughing, couz?" " Wala ang laki lang talaga nang pinagbago mo haha, I can't believe, your mom is really something." Whatever, I just ignored him and started eating. In the middle of our lunch, "Alice, pwede ba magtanong?" Ask by Abril while smiling. "Sure, what is it?" "Hindi kaba kumakain ng karne? Ano nga tawag, non Carl? Alam ko yon pero English kasi paki sabi nga carlo." She is very weird; ganyan ba ka seryoso yang pagiging patronage niya sa Pilipinas that she will not utter a single word in English. I wonder, anong coarse nito, how about when mag rereport siya? How about sa English subject niya? I have a lot of questions regarding sa situation ni Abril, "Vegetarian Couz, that's what she means." "Oh No no I'm not, kumakain naman ako ng karne because I need protein, but pa minsan minsan lang, I preferred fruits and vegetables. Hmmmm, my turn to ask questions, Saang department ka Abril, and also you, Nikki?." "Sa Departamentong Agrikultura" answered first by Abril, and I looked at Nikki " Health and Science" answered by Nikki without looking at me. What a weird combination of people! I think ako lang ang medyo normal dito. Well, I am obsessed with being a perfect woman and cleanliness. I think normal lang naman yon diba diba? Or not? "Oh, hmm, can I ask another question for you, Abril? " "Ano yon." "Hmm, may mangyayari ba kung magsasalita ka ng English? I mean, don't get me wrong, I am just curious, kasi especially may mga subject tayo na English yung gamit diba? What would you do in that situation?" Both Carlo and Abril laugh. Why are they laughing? Kanina pa tong si Carlo, huh. I glared at Carlo; when he looked at me, he stopped laughing and wiped his tears sa kakatawa. "Couz, may exception din naman si Abril, especially sa mga subjects dito sa school," April nodded to what Carlo said "Nagsasalita ako ng Ingles kung kinakailangan, lalong lalo na sa mga Asignatura dito sa paaralan. Pero sa pang araw-araw na paguusap ako ay hindi talaga nag sasalita ng Ingles" I really still find it weird. This is the first time I encountered this kind of person, "Weird" Siniko ako ng patago ni Carlo, which leads to my confusion "What?" I whispered to him; he just signed and rolled his eyes. " Please bear with Alice Abril; she sometimes utters the words na dapat sa utak lang niya sasabihin," and Carlo looked at me, and I just realized may nasabi ata ako na sa utak ko lang dapat sasabihin. " Oh, sorry, Abril, it's just really weird for me." "Sus ok lang yon, hindi naman ako sensitibong tao, masasanay ka rin sa akin." She's right, I will get used to the way she communicates. All throughout sa lunch namin, hindi nagsasalita si Nikki. I guess she is a quiet person or an introverted woman. She suddenly stood up, "I have to go, I have still class," and after she said that, umalis na siya without hearing our response. "She's an introverted and quiet person, kung masasanay ka the way na makikipag usap si Abril sayo, sanayin mona rin couz the way Nicole communicate sayo haha, but I am sure you will get used to it." I just signed, sanayan na lang talaga ito. Lumabas na kami ng Canteen, and I remember mamaya pa palang 2pm next subject ko. Maybe I will stay sa library pampalipas oras or I will roam around here sa labas to explore more Green Gables. "Couz may pasok kami ni Abril ngayong 1pm, mamaya pang 2pm yung klase mo, you better stay in the library pampalipas ng oras." HmmmmI better roam around here. Hindi ko pa nalibot ang whole campus. " I will just roam around here sa labascouz" "You sure? Baka maligaw ka huh" ano ako bata? " Mas mabuti sigurong maglibot ka muna didto sa labas Alice para makabisado mo ang Paaralan, BASTA huwag na huwag kang lumapit sa Bahay nanapapalibotan ng mga Halaman at bulaklak" may bahay sa loob ng campus? "Bakit kaninong bahay yon, is it the houseof the Owner of this school?" Abril look at carlo and give him a sign paramag explain " Tambayan yon ngAmbassadors ng School natin, I will just explain it to you later basta huwagkang lalapit doon, matigas pa naman ulo mo" na curios na tuloy ako ano banasa bahay na yon and who is this Ambassadors? "Ok" I smiled at them but carlo look at me with an intrigued look,hays here we go again sa pagdududa niya I pulled up the side of his hair mahinalang naman "Don't give me that look naits make me an untrusted person" "ARAAAAYYYY, makakalbo na talaga ako si ginagawa mo couz." I looked at April and found her surprised by what I did. "Don't worry, Abril, I will not do this to you, haha." She laughed. "Huwag kang mag-alala Alice binabatokan ko din siya pag binibigyan niya ako ng ganyang tingin haha." We both laughed while looking at Carlo. "Sige pag kaisahan niyo ko gaya ng dati" dati? Abril and I both paused, "Dati? Me and Abril?" I can see nabigla din si Carlo sa sinabi niya "Bingi kaba couz? I just said sige pagkaisahan niyo ko gaya ng iba." Iba? dati yung pagkadinig ko talaga, tumingin ako kay Abril, and she just stared at the ground. "Abril, are you ok?" "Huh? Haha oo, ok lang ako, may naalala lang ako," sabay tingin kay Carlo, and he just immediately looked away from the stare of Abril. "Malapit na mag 1 pm, let's go, Abril, baka ma late pa tayo, and ikaw miss Alice, please remember what we said, ok? " "Ok no worries," I smiled and waved at them. I decided to walk rather than ride my bicycle para makita ko talaga ang paligid, and I notice na malinis talaga ang paligid ng school, and it is very eco-friendly; nilibot ko ang tingin ko sa paligid, and hindi ko na pansin na nasa harapan napala ako ng agricultural building, opps baka makita ko dito si Sanchez, kaya I decided na pumunta sa Garden na nasa tabi ng Building; well, they are an agriculturist, so I expected talaga na may mga garden sila dito. The garden has a lot of variety in vegetables halatang alagang alaga talaga ng mga students. After I pass sa garden, may another garden nanaman, and this time the garden is full of flowers. So vegetable garden, yung kanina, and this time flower garden? How beautiful and peaceful is it? I think the owner of this school is an environmental enthusiast. Oh, kaya pala Green Gables ang name ng school nato. Because of my amazement, hindi ko namalayan nasa dulo na ako ng Garden, ok, its time to go back. As I turn my back, napalingon ako sa aking right side and see a house. Oh my goodness, did I just find out the house of the ambassadors?
