"Thanks, Cody, I appreciate it," the girl says honestly while looking at the taller brunette. "Of course." He says before turning around with the bruised-up boy and leaving out the back door.
No one utters a word till after that back door shuts. And after it's closed Madison immediately turns to the twins.
"You okay, JJ?" Madison asks while looking at the boy who also has a black eye and a bloody nose. "Yeah, I'm fucking good." The boy says while shrugging Javon's hands off of him and walking towards her instead.
"Come on, lemme tell you something," Jaden says quietly while grabbing the girl's hand. Madison just holds onto his hand and leads the boy upstairs
When the pair gets upstairs Madison takes Jaden to the kitchen even though her parents would kill her if they even thought that there was blood around their kitchen.
"Here catch!" the girl says while tossing the bruised-up boy an ice pack. "Thank you," he says while putting the pack on his eye.
Madison anxiously waits for Jaden to get himself cleaned up before asking him "You wanted to tell me something?"
Jaden nods while still holding the ice pack in his eye. "That fucking kid back there, you know him?" The bruised-up boy asks.
Madison just shakes her head no and shrugs. "Nope, I've seen him before, Yeah. But I don't KNOW him, y'know what I mean?" The girl says while hopping on her counter.
"Yeah, I get it." He nods while not taking his eyes off the girl. "But that's not the point," Jaden says and Madison furrows his eyes.
"So, what's up, what's the point?" Madison asks seriously. "Stay the fuck away from him. l Jaden says seriously and the girl sits up straight.
"And not to sound like a crazy jealous boyfriend or anything, but that guy's a fucking creep and he was saying some weird shit," Jaden says making the girl tense up.
"What was he saying, Jaden?"
The look on Jaden's face almost scares the girl and him shaking his head doesn't do her any good either.
Madison knows she's not gonna be able to find out what the kid is saying through Jaden just by the seriousness plastered on his face.
"Okay, I have news too," the girl says trying to lighten the mood from Jaden's recent actions. Madison's words made his head lift. "Yeah, what's up?"
Madison doesn't just blurt out 'JAVON KISSED ME' instead she walks over to the boy and quietly says "We kissed" as she clears her throat.
Jaden just simply shakes his head no. "I think I would remember us kissing."the boy says while looking at the girl who just rolls her eyes.
"Me and Javon, you fucking idiot." The girl sighs while rolling her eyes yet again. Jaden had a feeling that it was her and Javon that actually kissed but hearing it come from Madison, and out loud made it all the more shocking.
"Yeah? You guys just made up and made out?" The boy teases, Making a bright shade of pink appear on Madison's face.
"Don't say it like that" the girl says with embarrassment clear in her tone.
"That's cute Mads, you guys are cute," Jaden says while smiling at the girl. "Yeah, I guess, but I just hope we can actually talk things out," the girl says before letting out a sigh.
Jaden's brows furrow at her words despite the painful feeling in his eyes. "Wait, you guys just did the make-out part?" Jaden asks and Madison just shrugs.
"Well, technically...yeah"
"That's not healthy." The boy states obviously before letting out a sigh. "I have to do everything, don't worry, Mads, I'll set you guys up from now on." The boy says.
Madison's face twists up and she doesn't even get the chance fling say anything before she hears the front door opening.
The heads of Jaden and Madison both turn as they hear someone approaching.
" all out of Candy," the young girl says while holding an empty bowl, not noticing the bruises all over Jaden.
"There's more right here if you wanna go back out," Madison says while pointing at the unopened bag of candy on the counter. "Pass, I'm going to bed. Night, guys" the younger girl says while putting the bowl down before walking away.
"Night, Lily" Jaden and Madison say in union while watching the girl dressed as Minnie Mouse walk off.
Just as Jaden opens his mouth to speak Simone and Javon walk into the kitchen. "We got all the blood out of the carpet and cleaned up a little," the young girl says while standing next to Javon.
" Thanks, I appreciate it," Madison says while looking at the pair across from her and Jaden. " yeah, of course," Javon says nervously while scratching his head.
"Here," Jaden says as he tosses his car keys to Javon. "We should get going, I already know Dad's gonna be mad," Jaden says while looking at Madison and then at Javon.
"Oh, okay, you can keep the ice pack" Madison shrugs while looking at Jaden. "Appreciate it" the boy smiles while leaning over and giving the girl a side hug.
Javon leaves the kitchen first and Jaden and Madison follow him to the older girl's front door door.
"I'll text you," Javon says while hugging the girls as she waits by the door to close it behind the twins. "Yeah, yeah, go start the car," Jaden says while pulling Javon away from the girl.
Javon doesn't protest instead he smiles at the girl one last time before walking off. "Awkward " Jaden sings as the eldest twin walks towards the car.
"Okay, I'm definitely getting grounded so it'll take a while before I have you guys together but just hold off on him," Jaden explains to the girl, making her furrow her brows.
"But what if he thinks I don't like him and that I didn't like the kiss?" Madison panics making Jaden roll his eyes as he lets out another sigh.
"Just trust me, okay?"
It's been a while I KNOW. I was on my other account reading the 'high school crush' and that other book I made trying to decide if I wanted them on here but it was so cringe I had to keep taking breaks and deciding if I wanted to edit it or not.
I'll post them on here if you guys really want them but I'm gonna have to edit the mistakes for my own sake.
