Spring Break [Byler]

Chapter one

~Will's POV~

What time is it...?

I get up and look at my alarm clock

I still have a couple hours before he gets here... I'm thirsty.

I get up and head to the kitchen where I see El

"What are you doing up this early?"

She flinches before turning around to face me

"Sorry." I mutter.
"It is fine. I just could not sleep."
"Why?"
"I cannot wait for Mike to get here."
I nod in agreement. "It feels like an eternity. You should head to bed."
"So should you."
"I will... just getting some water first."
"Ok. Goodnight Will!"
"Night El."

And with that she heads back to her room. I sigh and grab a water bottle from the fridge.

How does she have that much energy at 6:00 in the morning?

I sit on a stool and gulp down some of my water

Mike hasn't been calling me much... what if he doesn't like me anymore? Don't be stupid Will. Of course he likes you, you're his best friend. Maybe he's just been busy? No that doesn't make any sense. He sends El letters all the time. Whatever. I'm sure he has a good reason for it...

I finish my water and head back to my room and collapse onto my bed

God I'm tired...
