"Hey pookie." The familiar voice spoke running up as he draped his arm around her. Joohyun smiled at her best friend. "I'm surprised you got out of bed today." She teased him as he let out a small pout.
"You're the only reason I still come to school." Han pulled her closer to him, closing the gaps between them. She just rolled her eyes at him as they stood outside the school entrance. Han clung to Joohyun as they leaned up against the wall waiting on their friends.
"You going to spend the night tonight?" He glanced down at her who's head was resting on his chest. "I don't know Han, it's been busy at the house." She pouted. He let out a small laugh as he ruffled her hair. "How about I come to your place then?" A cheesy smile was plastered on his face.
"Fine, but you'll be helping with the chaos." She poked his chest as she looked up at him. Their faces was only inches away. She quickly moved her face back but he stopped her. His hand held her face, moving his closer to hers. "Han.." She muttered out.
He quickly kissed her forehead before pulling away, as he watched her. "You look cute when your cheeks are red." He chuckled at her. She quickly looked away from him. "Stop trying to use your fuck boy charm on me." Her words ran together, his arms snaked around his waist.
"Seems to me that it's works since you can't speak properly." He whispered in her ear. Joohyun pushed herself away from him as she crossed her arms. "It does not!" She pouted at him. He smirked at her before letting it be."Whatever you say pookie." Stuffing his hands in the pocket of his hoodie.
Han looked away seeing a familiar figure walking up to them. "Nice of you to show up today." Chan glared at him, leaning on the wall beside him. "Haha sorry, but I'm here today." Han shrugged his shoulders in response.
"Hey Joo!" Eunhee hollered at her as she approached the group. She gave her a soft smile not moving from beside Han. "When you going to tame the fuck boy?" Eunhee remarked with a smirk on her face. Joohyun just rolled her eyes at her.
"I don't like him like that." She was quick to say to her. Han placed his hand up to his heart being dramatic. "I'm hurt Joonie." She just shook her head at him. "So after all these years, you're telling me you have no feelings for him?" Eunhee questioned looking dead in her eyes.
"Eunhee, will you let it go please." She whined feeling Han's eyes on her. Eunhee shrugged before moving her attention to Hyunjin. "What the hell took you so long? We left the house at the same time." She fussed at him but Hyunjin ignored her. She groaned at her brother acting like he's cooler than her.
"I swear, Hyunjin." As Eunhee bumped past him, walking through the school entrance. "You coming Joo?" She asked looking back at her. She smiled and quickly nodded her head. "Come on Han." As she grabbed his hand pulling him along. The sound of annoyance left his body.
"Behave, you showed up so you're going to work." Joohyun used her stern voice on him but it just made him laugh. "You're adorable when you try to be in charge." Rolling her eyes at him. "Please stop." She dialled the combination into her locker.
"I'll see you at lunch pookie." He snickered before walking off with Felix. She sighed in defeat as she placed the books she didn't need into her locker before closing it. Walking into class she took her seat next Jeongin. Even though he was part of the friend group she knew the least about him.
He was always quiet and kept to himself for the most part, only really talked to Chan. She needed to do her best to interact with him more. She felt bad that they wasn't close like she was with the others. "Hey Jeongin." She spoke to him quietly, he turned and gave her his classic dimpled smile.
"Hey Joo." His words were soft before he turned his attention back to the front of the class. The sound died down as the teacher entered the classroom. "You will be continuing you assignment from yesterday and turned in at the end of class." Mr. Kim sat at his desk before staring at the computer screen.

By the time it was time for lunch Joohyun walked down the hallway and was met with Changbin. "Who pissed in your cheerios?" The expression he held on his face it was clear he was upset about something. "You're damn boy toy flaked on me during music class." Scrunching her nose up at his words. "He's not my-" Her words were cut off by Han suddenly clinging to her side. Changbin just glared at him.
"And where the hell were you?" It was clear how upset Changbin was. Han rubbed the back of his neck as he glanced at the floor. "Well me and-" Changbin cut him off by holding his hand up to him. "I'm getting tired of your behaviour Han, honestly it's time to grow up. I don't even know how Joohyun still puts up with you." Throwing his hands in the air before walking off.
"Geez." Han mumbled underneath his breath. She jerked away from him. "Really Han?" She glared at him. He said nothing he just watched. "You brag about how much you, Chan and Changbin are going to be the next big thing but yet you flake on him for what? A booty call?" She sighed at him, not knowing what to do with him.
"You keep treating them like this and you're going to lose your closest friends." She thumped his forehead, as he whined out at her. "Okay damn I get it." He held his hand on his head as they walked into the cafeteria. Joohyun dropped her bag on the floor before sitting down in one of the empty seats.
The table was filled with an awkward silence as Han sat down beside her. Chan had a very displeased looked on his face as he watched Han. "What?" Han snapped at him slightly. "Don't fucking what me, Jisung." Chan spat back at him with his arms crossed. Han just rolled his eyes at him.
"You're on your last chance before you're kicked from 3racha." Chan took a deep breath before he stood and walked off. Han's mouth hung open as he watched him walk away. Joohyun just shook her head at him. "I warned you how many times?" Pulling her textbook from her book bag, setting it on the table.
One by one everyone eventually gathered around the table, talking and eating away. Joohyun was focused on her work. Han draped his arm over her shoulders. "You not going to eat pookie bear?" She let out a sigh as she looked at him. "No, I'll eat later during my free period." Moving her attention back to her studies.
*** Joohyun waited for Han outside by the school entrance to go home. Glancing at the time on her phone. "Finally!" She hollered at him as he walked over to her. "Sorry, was getting yelled at by the principal." She just shook her head in disappointment at him. "I don't want to know." She started walking off without him. His eyes grew wide as he watched her leave him.
Quickly rushing to her side, grabbing her hand, intertwining his fingers with hers. Looking down at theirs and up at him. "This is why people think we're together all the time." He stopped in his tracks. "Is that really such a bad thing?" He looked into her eyes, waiting for an answer.
"Han.." Her words trailed off looking away from him. Placing his hand under her chin to force her to look at him. "Tell me." He pleaded with her. She had never seen him like this before. "Even if, and I say this hypothetically. Even if I did like you, there is no way I would date you." His expression saddened at her words.
"Are you really that surprised by my answer?" She watched him closely. He just nodded his head at her. "Why won't you date me?" I want the honest truth Joonie." He cooed at her, holding both her hands now.
A sigh left her body, she didn't want to hurt him but he asked for the truth. "Han, you're a fuck boy and have been since middle school. You stopped caring about school, your friendships, even slacking on 3racha that you used to be so passionate about. You have slept with almost every girl in school, you can never stay with one for to long before you get bored. I know you have cheated on some as well. I don't want to get hurt." Her words rambled together as she talked.
He listened to her words carefully. His expression turned into a sad lost puppy. "Don't look at me like that Han, you asked for the truth." She looked away from him now. "I'll prove it to you." He whispered, pressing his forehead onto hers.
