It's easier than people think to tell the difference between a crocodile and an alligator.

With an alligator, their snout is rounder than that of  a crocodile's which is pointier

Those snouts are adaptateous because  Crocodiles will eat fish but alligators are opportunistic so they will eat just about anything

Alligators have 80 teeth while crocodiles have 68 teeth
