KELs pov

It was 11am, i was at the park, sitting in the grass and thinking about what to do today.
I was there for a few minutes before i saw my old friend, BASIL, come to the park. We havent spoken in a while so i got up to say hi.
I walked over to BASIL and smiled.
" Hey BASIL! Been a while hasnt it? "
BASIL looked at me and smiled back. " Yeah, it has. ..How are you? "
" Im good! Started playin basketball, heh. How are you? " I respond.
For some reason, i start to feel nervous.Its probably just because we havent talked in a long time. Then, my stomach started hurting-
Meh, prolly just nervous-
" Thats good to hear, ive been alright. " BASIL says, pausing for a minute before speaking again. " ..I uh, missed you. "
I smile and say, " I missed you too BASIL! "
I was about to start speaking, when i remembered something..
" Shoot! I gotta go BASIL, HEROs comin home today! It was nice to see you though "
I wave goodbye to BASIL before running to my house.
