Chapter 9 ⚠

Taehyun smiled back at him, his hand tingling from the sensation of Beomgyu’s touch long after the man removed his hand.

As they stood next to each other in the elevator, Beomgyu could feel the change surrounding them now. His mind went to last night and thought about it felt so good with Taehyun inside him. He shook his head furiously, trying to not think about it.

The elevator thankfully reached their floor and Beomgyu headed over to his door.

“It felt good to do something other than just working...this was nice." Beomgyu said softly as he turned the key around in the lock.

“It really was nice.” Taehyun uttered as he avoided looking at Beomgyu.

“Have a good day at work today…” Beomgyu said as he got in his apartment, wondering when he would get to see the man again.

“See you around Beomgyu.” Taehyun mumbled before getting into the safety of his flat and shutting the door behind him.

Beomgyu missed Taehyun’s company. It was weird, he knew that but somehow, he had started seeing Taehyun as a good friend, and genuinely liked their outings. He wanted to pop into Taehyun’s apartment randomly and just hang out with the man for no reason other than the fact that he missed him, but he pushed it all the way to the back of his head.

This was out of the norm for him, all his life he was used to knowing what he wanted to do. He thought about what Mrs Kang had told him about the unplanned surprises but it definitely was hard getting used to them. He never thought that one day, he would be fake dating someone, and ended up sleeping with them as well. This was not him but at the same time, it felt so...comfortable. Like maybe, it was meant to be.

Work got the both of them busy once again, and Beomgyu was starting to feel stressed as he realised, he would be getting the news for the results of his project anytime soon. Beomgyu didn’t know what got into him but as he was going back home from work, he decided to stop at a shop, going in and buying things he had never bought for anyone or for himself before, and then heading back home. He took a quick shower before changing into casual clothes, picking up the bag from the shop and heading over to his neighbour’s place.

Beomgyu rang the door and waited. He didn’t even message the man to see if he would be at home, and it was as if he were on auto pilot. Just when he thought Taehyun wasn’t home, he heard the sound of footsteps and the door opened.

Taehyun was barefaced, wearing a loose white shirt with baggy pants and his hair was sticking up in different directions, and it made him look even more…hotter than usual. Beomgyu gulped as Taehyun raised his eyebrow up in confusion, clearly not expecting to see him.

“Uhm…” Beomgyu started, looking away before meeting Taehyun’s gaze, “I got something…that is not for you.”

Taehyun’s look of confusion intensified, and Beomgyu coughed, before explaining, “I got some things for your cats…I don’t know if they would like it though…” He trailed away, staring at the younger man awkwardly.

Beomgyu was worried for Taehyun as the younger man just stared at him for a good two minutes, blinking once and then twice, like he couldn't believe what he was seeing.

“Taehyun?” Beomgyu called out, waving his hand in front of him.

Taehyun jerked back, his eyes growing even wider than earlier, “Sorry, you did what?”

“I got food…toys... stuff for your cats.” Beomgyu repeated shyly.

Beomgyu watched as Taehyun’s lips turned up slowly into a smile, his eyes turning into crescent shaped moons and it was the most heart-warming sight he had ever seen, and it was getting difficult to breath.
