Roadkill Island

(Made up story idea.)
Idea:

10 People left dead and rotting at a island in Oklahoma, this island is known for being cursed, cursed for the deaths of these 10 local people who rented at the house resting upon the Roadkill Island, currently still up for rent.

1995 (Any year), December (Any month). A family. A nearby island who had some people living on the island saw the sighting. The family was described as two adults, and two children. The parents were married, named Jake Fango and Marissa Fango. They had two sons. One was 8 years old and named Dominic Fango, the other boy was 5 and named Liam Fango. Liam and Dominic were both playing out in the field on the island with toy cars, the youngest, Liam, found a figure in the woods next to the field. They weren't allowed in the forest because of how dangerous it could be. Of course, Liam was curious enough to walk over to the woods, Dominic following behind. They were both young and filled with questions and concern, so it wasn't exactly their fault. Once the two boy's were gone, there was screaming, alarming the two parents inside the cabin.

The mother, Melissa, ran out first, calling out their names. The father, Jake, also ran out and yelled for them. They both ran into the forest in search of their beloved sons. Jake contacted the police but noticed it technically wouldn't help them find their sons since they were on a island, near other islands.. Jake lost Melissa in the forest, ending up calling all three of them. A bloodcurdling scream was once heard, one of a woman. That.. Was Melissa. Jake was still on the phone with the police as he found the figure, describing it as a creature before dying.
