Author's Note
Hi everyone, I don't honestly know what this is but I've had brainrot about these two and I know Neuvillette comes out today. (also I know that wriothesley isn't a villian in the story, but i decided to go off the trailer in an AU of sorts)Just a lil warning there is some heavy smut in this chapter! Not sure if I'll continue this or leave it as a one shot but enjoy :)
He was burning.
His stomach was on fire, curling in small coils deep down inside him. His palms were resting on the large white desk in front of him, fingers clenched and sweat dripping down his forehead. His pupils were large and his vision was hazier than normal, heat spreading from his stomach down to the tips of his fingers. His face was pure red no doubt, it brought him great shame to even think of how he looked in this state. But he had a duty. A job to do. Not once had Chief Justice Neuvillette ever missed a day of work. Not even when this happened to him, once a year.
Once a year he felt his self control slip. Once a year he felt the same heat rise inside of him, threatening to consume him entirely if he gave it even the smallest chance. Once a year, the dragon inside him would not be satiated by the mere fact that Neuvillette kept him at bay. No, it crawled at his stomach and limbs. It turned his body into a bright red, heavy breathing mess. It made his hands shake, a deplorable action in the eyes of a man who was believed to be able to do anything. And his self control slipped. His inhibitions would take over and eat away at his body, Neuvillette was powerless to do anything about what was happening deep inside him. He would usually spend the single day out of the year in his room, doused in a mix of self-pleasure inside his room, panting all day from the unspeakable acts he would do to himself. It was the only way to keep the monster inside him from coming out. And he despised it.
But this year was different. The terrible day had landed on a work day, a work day he could not miss if his life depended on it. So he had told himself everything would have been fine. He typically didn't see anyone else and kept an office alone, so he had shut himself in and began his work for the day. But not even an hour in and he was panting, palms sweaty against the desk as he tried to keep his thoughts from jumping out of his head. His gloved fingers trembled slightly as they hovered over a quill he had kept dipped in ink, threatening to betray him unless he focused his entire concentration on keeping his hands still. He gave up on the pen and ran a shaky hand through his hair, combing it off his forehead that was getting warmer by the moment.
"Gods."
He whispered to himself, shocked at the voice that escaped his throat. He was so composed, so used to playing the role that everyone else had expected of him. He had mastered the correct tone to use at all times, the flat and emotionless voice that he had come to know over the years. It was the tone of voice that had commanded him so much respect over the years. But his words didn't sound at all like that. They sounded pleading and desperate, like he was searching for something. They were soft and breathless, feeling strange in his throat as the word came out. He gently shook his head to himself, just a few more hours. Just a few more hours and then he could finally go home and drown himself in pleasure. And so it was almost a cruel twist of fate when he heard a loud, brass knock on the double doors housing his office, and the dragon that was burning inside.
He froze in his chair, panting as he slowly raised his head from the desk, trying not to utter a single word. If he said anything then the other person would no doubt know he was inside, letting themselves in to see him. He almost couldn't imagine a worse fate.
What should I do?
Neuvillette whispered in his mind, thoughts dulled by the warm sensation filling his body. He hated not knowing what to do, with a passion. He was always calm and composed, had a solution to everything. But at this moment he was slipping miserably, and all of his worst fears were about to come true. Whoever was behind that door would see him and it would all be over.
