Turning Point

Prologue

Luna's pov

"You are going to tutor Aztech, I don't care if you don't want to. She's failing in math, and your grades are straight A's and B's." My principal said as I sat in the chair upfront of her desk. "Fine." I said as I got up and walked out the door, heading for the library. When I got to the library, I saw Aztech sleeping in a bean bag chair. Slaming my books on her desk might not have been the best way to wake her up as I was now on the floor gasping for breath as she was glaring at me. "Maybe next time don't fuck with someone while their asleep and you won't be on the floor gasping for breath like a idiot." She says as I catch my breath.

45 minutes later.....

Aztech's pov

While I'm in the middle of listening to a speech about not sleeping in the middle of the tutoring session, I get up, knocking my chair to the ground in the prosses. "Smoke." I say. Luna just stares at me in confusion and sniffs the air. Her eyes widen as I see the look on her face turn from a look of confusion turn to the look of surprise in a split second.  As I start to run out of the library and the way I smell smoke, she comes after me. As I get to section B of the school I immediately feel dread as I smell chemicals comeing from the science lab D. I skid to a stop and very carefully walk toward the door, as I'm about to open it, Luna comes around the corner yelling stop. Its to late, I opened the door and a explosion shakes the school. I get thrown back a few feet, hiting the wall in the process. As i look up I see blurriness and hear ringing. In the blurriness of my eyes and the ringing in my ears I see Luna's terrified face as she looks down to the floor and back up to me. The last thing I see is the blurry figure of her fall through the floor and her scream. I black out.

Luna's pov

A few moments earlier

I'm in the middle of a speech about not sleeping while someone is teaching when I hear a chair screech and fall to the ground. I look back to Aztech to see her standing up, eyes wide in something I couldn't make out. As I stare in confusion, I hear her say 'smoke'. I sniff the air to see what she's talking about, and sure enough, there's smoke in the air, my eyes widen. When I snap out if my surprised daze, I see the end of Aztech's hair going to the right, I run after her, I'm about 25 feet behind her when I see she turns left, looking like she's going to section B of the school. I turn the corner and see chemicals coming from beneath the door she's about to open, I could feel something bad about to happen. "Stop," I yell, but I'm too late, she opened the door and gets thrown back against the wall as an explosion shakes the school. As I'm about to go help her, I hear the sound of splitting from beneath my feet. Looking down, I see cracks starting to form, and I feel a terrified expression on my face begin to form. As I look back up, I see Aztechs head is bleeding. That's when I feel the floor collapse from beneath me. I scream as I fall. I black out from the force of hitting the ground

I know it's short, and I'm sorry I'll try and make it longer next time.

This is not the beginning of the story. There will be things before this part. This is around the middle-ish of the story (I think), and there will be more of the background story in the next chapter

I don't know when I'll be updating since I'm trying to switch into an online school
