Reader X Felix

Part 4

The screen above the plug blinks and now reads Dragon's lair.

Everyone was curious but nothing came out so they realized a new character probBly wasn't going to come out anytime soon.

You and Felix were curious because you'd been game hoping. So you decide to take a look.

(If you've never played Dragons lair it was a movie where you pick the direction you want to go and it would load a different movie. It was random which rooms in the castle you'd be running through and the point of the game was to go through however many rooms and traps the game gives you in order to reach the top of the tower and free the princess.)

You enter the plug and the first thing you see is a spooky looking tower. "Alright?" You say looking up at the building. "What kind of game is this?"

Felix shrugs. "I don't know but I've got a bad feeling about this."

Off to the side a lady with long blonde hair is strolling along all by herself and a weird looking dark wizard appears. However he doesn't see the young lady he sees you and Felix.

Normally the dark wizard is supposed to kidnap the young lady princess but instead he mistakes you for her and carries you away to the top of the tower without a word. "Felix?!?" You yell as you're dragged away.

Felix grabs his hammer from his belt looking very determined. "Don't worry I'll save you!" He starts to rush into the castle but the young lady stops him. "Excuse me ma'am I need to go save my friend."

"You can't just rush in there." She says. "I'm sorry to say this but if you go in there you will die."

Felix adjusts his hat and puffs out his chest. "I'm tough, I can handle it."

"The tower is full of dark magic, traps, and monsters." She replies. "At least take a sword."

Suddenly a knight appears with a sword but once he sees the princess wasn't taken he looks very confused. "Wait, this isn't right. What happened? Who are you?"

"I'm Felix from the game Fix it Felix... that guy just took my friend." He says pointing to the tower.

"There was a mix up." She explains. "We have to set this right."

The knight nods. "Luckily for you I know this castle very well. Follow me." He rushed up to the door. "My name is Dirk by the way."

Felix nods and goes after him.

A few rooms in and Felix encounters his first monster. Dirk grabs a sword from a skeleton nearby and tosses it to Felix.

Felix is no good with it but ends up swinging the sword around in a way that scared the monsters and distracted them while Dirk took care of them.

You were up in the upper chamber of the tower in a cage guarded by a dragon. "You've made a mistake, I don't think I am who you think I am."

The wizard nods slightly. "Yes. This is not how this is supposed to happen." He mumbles. "But I've already started so we'll just let it play out." He says.

"Ok?" You say confused.

The whole thing was confusing. If this guy knew he was supposed to take the other lady then why did he take you? Would Felix be ok in the tower?

The dark wizard stands around for a while. "Your friend is coming to save you. And he's brought dirk with him."

You lean around the cage slightly. "Could maybe just let me go?"

He ignores you. It seems like trying to defeat Dirk is more important than listening to your reason.

Felix and Dirk enter a spiral staircase. Dirk rushed forward without fear and got knocked off the stairs by a monster guy. Felix was now all alone. "Oh dear..." still not really great with a sword and now all alone Felix makes a decision. He's still determined to help you but he can't fight the monsters so he abandons the sword and just runs.
