Third Person's POV

Ryujin has been missing for 1 week after sending her last text to her best friend. Yeji tried to call her many times but it was of no use. She also went to the different places that she knew Ryujin would be in when she’s in a bad mood, but even the shadow of her best friend was nowhere to be found.

After two weeks of trying to find her best friend, Yeji failed herself because Ryujin did make sure that she will never be found by anyone including her family. It’s a good thing that they’re on a summer break that gives Yeji more time in trying to figure out what Ryujin meant by her last text.

It frustrates her because she doesn’t understand why Ryujin is apologizing to her. She doesn’t remember anything done by Ryujin that made her upset, except for its everyday teasing but that’s just their normal setup for 7 years. And another thing, two days before Ryujin sent her last text, she treat Yeji to her favorite snacks, went to their favorite place where Ryujin insisted to talk about their memories from the past, how they first met, their fool acts during junior high, and how they are each other’s soulmate no matter what happens. They spent all their time reminiscing about their 7 year friendship, laughing and having a good time until Mrs. Moon showed up.

“Will that be my last memory of her?” Yeji thought to herself. She then decided to go to Ryujin's dorm to find clues to where she might be. The door was locked, that’s why Yeji asked for assistance from the head officer to have a spare key for Ryujin’s room. After opening the door, her best friend's room appeared like it was never used by anyone. She knew Ryujin is a neat person. That's why she wondered why there were crumpled papers all over the floor up to its study table. She then checked what was written on those crumpled papers. There are several papers that started with different sentences . . .
