Alice's pov

I was woken up abruptly by a sound resounding from my window.

It was already late in the afternoon as I rubbed my eyes.

I went to take a look to see what was going on.

When I saw tiny beings that have differences in color, pink, blue, green, and tons more just outside.

Their beady eyes are boring into me. I didn't know what was going on as I have never seen anything like this in my entire life.

They kept banging on my window. It appears they are trying to break it, which doesn't make sense considering my window is made of tempered glass.

I looked at them in horror as I was trying to process what was happening. I looked around to spot my neighbors half eaten body sprawled outside on my lawn.

There are splotches of blood on other parts of the road. It looks like a lot of people tried to run away but didn't make it.

I just woke up a moment ago now I have to deal with this!?

There are at least 20 of them outside the window as I watch them, unsure on what to do.

I have concluded that they are fairies, by the looks of them, with wings, different colors and sharp teeth.

I gasped and fell to my knees. What the hell happened while I was asleep?

I went downstairs, as I know they're not yet capable of breaking through my window.

I checked out my door and other windows to see if they have been breached through.

I took a quick glance and figured they haven't.

I went up again and the fairies are gone. As I was about to leave I saw a fairy on the ground; its left wing was injured.

A part of me wanted to help but a second part of me knew that if I stepped outside I would get ripped to shreds by the other fairies.

I started to weigh out my options, when I heard the fairy try to fly as hard flapping sounds were heard. It was squealing in pain.

I looked out to see if it was alright.

I sighed as I know what I have to do.

I waited until most of the fairies left my house to go to my neighbor's.

I sneaked outside to check the fairy that got injured.

"A-are you ok?" I asked. It hissed at me for five whole seconds.

I dared not to approach it, even if it was injured it could still injure me even if it was only one.

I went back inside to get a towel to scoop it up.

I went back outside to see the tiny creature. It kept on hissing at me as I got close, but it's not trying to kill me just yet.

I scooped it up with the towel, it kept on squirming as I brought it to my kitchen to treat it. I think my towels have been shredded due to their long sharp nails.

I got some hydrogen peroxide from my room.

I put some on a cotton ball as I dabbed it slowly on the wound.

It kept on hissing but stopped after a while. Realizing I'm not a threat.

After I finished, I backed away slowly to try and stop it from attacking me.

It rolled out of the blanket as it started to look around.

I saw that it was curious as it was looking around.
