chapter 7 Venice

"Stupid Ferris wheel, stupid fair." I was mumbling to myself while getting dressed. It's only Wednesday but I'm dreading going back. It's either going to be awkward or its going to be fine but I don't want to know. I went downstairs and went straight out the door. I went into my moms car and took out the airbag from the other back seat. I deactivated it and shoved it into my bag. I know I know but I destroy things or make trouble when I'm mad or upset. Why do you think I sent Jupiter flying. Anyways I waited until I saw the bus coming and I ran to the bus stop. Jupiter was just coming out of the house. I got on the bus and waited until we got to the school. I didn't see where Comet was so I went to my geography class. I ripped open the seams on the teachers desk chair and stuffed the airbag in. I reactivated it and then stitched the seat back together. This was going to be good. I sat down in my seat and waited for Comet And the rest of my friends. They walked in and sat down. comet sat on my desk, crossed his legs and faced me. "So was your mom mad at you last night or was it OK?" I laughed when the teacher came in. "No no it was fine. I was leaning around Comet to see the teacher. They all looked at the front and were really confused. " saturn what did you do?" Garet asked for once. "Just uh just watch." They kept watching. She went to sit down and then was flung to the ceiling and fell to the floor. Everyone started laughing. It was weird though. Sunny wasn't laughing. Oh well can't be anything bad. We sat through geography and math for what felt like years. At lunch I walked with Comet and Jones to the cafeteria. We sat down in our usual spot. I was looking over where Jupiter usually sits and I didn't see her. Then she walked in but she was holding someones hand. He had black hair and was wearing a red shirt with jeans and black and red DC shoes. He had a crooked smile and his teeth were straight but they were not white. They were a yellowish colour. He wasn't very attractive. I looked over at Comet and saw that he was almost scowling St him. "Uh Comet who's that?" He didn't say anything. "Comet?" "He's the most popular kid in this school. Everyone likes him except for us because he's not nice and he pushes people around. Hes not someone you want to be around." He kept scowling. "Well what's his name?" He watched him until he disappeared into the lunch line. "His name is Venice. Not Vince. Venice." "Hmmm nice name." Looked over at me. "But doesn't sound like a nice guy at all." He had to laugh because he knew what I was doing. The warning bell rang and we went off to class. We still had 10 minutes. I was walking a little behind everyone texting jak. All of a sudden someone took my hand. "Hey baby. How's it going?" He said. I turned and looked at him. It was Venice. He was even more non attractive up close. I pulled my hand away and he looked disgusted. "Ah who are you? And what's with your eyes?" "I for your information am jupiter's twin sister. Idiot." I caught up with Comet and walked to class with him. All of our classes were boring unless we did group work because then we could laugh and talk all six of us. Today sunny and bailey got called to the office and garet and jones ditched so that they could hang out. That left Comet and I sitting together. It was kind of awkward. This week was starting to feel longer and longer.
