"Really, if there's anything I can do-" "Everything's taken care of" Alfie dismissed "We have men to feed the dogs, the horses, don't worry, everything's in hand" I said
"Well, might I take you to dinner then before you go?" She asked "Aila" I sighed "Please" she asked, her innocent face pleading
"Fine" I mumbled, continuing to pack "Good, tonight?" She asked "Sure" I nodded "Does that invitation extend to me?" Alfie asked
"No" we both said at the same time.

"Get up" I ordered, walking into the garrison "What?" Finn grumbled, sitting up "Arthur. Get up" I shouted, grabbing an abandoned drink and throwing it on him He woke up with a start, eyes wild
"Go home. Wash" I said in disgust "What time is it?" Arthur asked "Finn, go get your sister" I said "Ada's here?" He asked
"She's at the betting den, go" I said "Why don't you-" He stopped when I looked at him
Before he nodded, getting up, before he kicked a man's foot "Billy. Wake up" he shouted on his way out "What?" The man said, sitting up slowly, holding his head.
Arthur slumped back down, passing out "Arthur" I snapped. "Don't shout" the man said, eyes adjusting to the room "Who are you?" I asked, crossing my arms as I stood over him
He squinted, looking up Before he offered his hand "Billy Grade" he greeted The footballer Arthur was talking about? "You rig the bets" I said
He looked clearer, pulling himself up to a chair "You must me Mariana" he said "You drink with Shelbys" I stated I didn't realise he was that close to them all
"No I... I drink with Finn" he said "Finn is a Shelby" I said calmly "Yeah" he chuckled "I guess he is" he grumbled, cradling his head
"Fuck sake" Ada said, walking in "Arthur, wake up" she shouted "You coming?" Finn asked "Yea-" "He'll be along in a moment" I said, keeping my eyes on Billy
Finn hesitated, before he walked outside "I just need a minute" Arthur slurred, as Ada began to drag him out, his arm slung over her shoulder "Next time" I said lowly, leaning down to Billy "He stays off the opium, alright?" I said He stared for a moment, before he nodded
