The Lucky Mission

Shinobu Woke Up Early In The Morning and looked out her window, The sun was only just coming out. "Hmm... I suppose I have to go to that Hashira Meeting huh? Well, i better get ready." Shinobu then Proceeded to get changed into her Slayer Uniform and Haori and Prepared some Tea for herself. She was just sitting down, enjoying her tea, when Kanao walked up to her and spoke. "I will now be leaving for a Mission Shinobu" Shinobu set down her cup of tea and smiled at Kanao. "Okay, Try Not To Die!" Shinobu Said with a cheery voice. Kanao walked out the door. "Well, I better get going to the Meeting." Shinobu finished her cup of tea and set it down on the table, before grabbing her katana and leaving The Butterfly Mansion. Shinobu had decided to take a different route than she normally does to the Hashhira meetings, she instead decided to walk through the nearby town. Nearing the other side of town She Bumped into Giyuu. She never knew why, but she always loved to tease him and joke around with him, despite his quiet, antisocial behaviour. "Oh Giyuu! What a pleasant surprise" Shinobu Ran Up to him and put herself in front of him. Smiling up at him She said,  "I'm glad I found you here! You look like you'd die of boredom and loneliness if I hadn't found you!" Giyuu Sighed "Look Kocho, I am not here to joke around, I was just on my way to the Hashira meeting. I'd be well on my way if you hadn't decided to just stop me." Shinobu Frowned, Giyuu seemed a little more upset and grumpy than usual. "Well, Since I'm here we might as well go to the meeting together." Giyuu, Reluctantly, agreed. "Fine." Shinobu went back to her cheery old self and put her hands together. "Well Then!..." Shinobu had just come to a realisation. "Uhmmm. Giyuu?" "What Kocho?" "Maybe it'd be better if we went to the meeting together, seeing as... I have no clue how to get there from here." Giyuu tried to think of some way he could get shinobu away from him, but alas, he couldnt think of anything. "Well Then Kocho, Let's get going, we've spent too long standing here." Shinobu agreed with Giyuuu and she followed him when he was leaving the town . As they were walking through a thick layer of snow, Giyuu had seen something in his peripheral vision, something was headed their way. Instinctively, Giyuu unsheathed his katana and turned to the direction he saw something move. It was only a small child, maybe 6 years old, holding a snowball. Once the child saw Giyuu's katana, they started to cry and run away. "Well, Giyuu, yet another reason you have no friends, you make little kids cry!" Shinobu laughed so hard she started crying "Ow! It Hurts! haha! Someone Help!" Giyuu groaned. Shinobu was always like this around him, yet for some odd reason, he always liked that she'd actually take time out of her day to talk to him. One of the only other people who do that is Kyojuro Rengoku, but he is like that with everyone, he could spend a whole afternoon on why the sun could actually be purple. But Shinobu was different. "Okay now Kocho, you can stop laughing, we are almost there." Shinobu then looked at Giyuu with a serious face, cleared her throat and said, "Okay." She seemed to have calmed down, but Giyuu saw her face was still red from laughing, either that or the cold. "Kocho, Come a little closer" Shinobu did so, albeit a little counfused. Giyuu then took the sleeve pf his Haori and wiped tears off of Shinobu's face. "H-huh? Giyuu‽ What do you think you are doing?" Shinobu turned away from him, trying to cover up the fact her face was as red as a tomato. "You had tears on your face. I thought that I should wipe them off so no one thought i was abusing you or anything." "Oh my goodness. Why is it so warm all of a sudden? I-its like -2°C. Do I like Giyuu? No. He's just my friend, right?" Shinobu thought to herself, somewhat panicking.
"Kocho? Are you alright?" "Oh shoot. How long have I been silent?" Shinobu turned around to face Giyuu. "Thank you for your concern but I am quite alright. So let us finally get to this meeting." Giyuu nodded "Hmm. Agreed." They continued to walk, finally reaching the Ubuyushiki Estate. The 7 other hashira were waiting for them, along with Kagaya Ubuyushiki and two of his Children. Kyojuro spoke up after a minute or so of silence. "Master Ubuyushiki! Shinobu Kocho and Giyuu Tomioka have arrived!" Ubuyushiki Spoke "I am afraid you two are quite late, we were just about to finish this meeting. You hadn't missed much though. What you should know is Both Giyuu and Shinobu are going on a joint mission together to find a potential Twelve Kizuki Demon." Both Giyuu and Shinobu apologised for being late when they both processed what Ubuyushiki had said. Giyuu thought to himself, "Uggghhh! I mean, it could be far far worse." While onnthe other hand, Shinobu was thinking, "Well, this should be both interesting and fun." The Hashira all bid Kagaya Ubuyushiki farewell as the Hashira Meeting was dismissed, they formed into a line to leave. Kagaya Stopped Giyuu and Shinobu before they could leave. "I would like you two to stay here." They both walked over to Kagaya and kneeled before him. "Now you two. I am quite upset with how late you were. And if I am being honest, I was heavily reconsidering putting you two on this Mission, but I'd like you to prove me wrong. Because I know you two work really well together, just don't let that become a hinderance." Both Shinobu and Giyuu apologised profusely. After being dismissed, they left the estate and began discussing their new mission. "So Giyuu... Do we have a plan for if it is a Twelve Kizuki we are going to be fighting." Giyuu Looked at herbdead in the face, "Kocho, I dont usually go on joint missions, so I dont really NEED plans normally. I can just go with what im thinking at the time." Shinobu agreed. "Yes, im exactly the same." While Shinobu seemed to be completely serious about this mission, in reality, not only was she super afraid of running into a demon such as Upoer Moon 1, she was also squealing on the inside because she got a vhance to apend more time with one of her closest friends, Giyuu. "Why am I so excited for this mission. Giyuu is just a friend. I need to calm down." The both of them were walking together to the town were their mission is. Almost ready for any challenge that will face them.
