A/N: have fun leon kennedy simp!!! 😼😼😼

I knew that it would happen sooner or later. It was only a matter of time before my friends would do something stupid that would only put themselves in danger. Not to mention, the location and timing couldn't have been less perfect.

The busy streets of T were bustling with people, crowding around a small individual crouched over. They hugged their knees and held their ribs as their white clothes have long since dyed a crimson red. Sirens wailed as they rushed my bleeding friend to the hospital. I remember how my worry made my stomach drop, and how a rough hand held my shoulder to comfort me.

"Good afternoon, miss. My name is officer Leon. I will be in charge of investigating this case." This was where it all started.

He first approached me in an attempt to get a perspective on the situation. His notepad looked comically small in his large and strong hands as he wrote.

"Don't worry, Mia. Your friend will be in great care and we will find the driver that hit them."

His voice was soft and comforting, like the first hot chocolate of winter. It was soft but it made my heart beat hard. I couldn't help but wonder what it would be like to hear his voice everyday. I looked down suddenly in attempt to hide my face slowly growing red. He most definitely took it differently.

"Miss, is everything alright?" He asked, concerned. But I was quick to brush it off.

"No, no, I'm alright. Thank you so much for everything."

"Just doing my job, miss. I will be seeing you again if there is ever a need for further investigation." He had a small smile as he turned to leave.

It was during these investigations that we grew close. At first, he would visit my house to further his investigation, but eventually, these visits grew more frequent and less for investigations.

My doorbell rang again. It was him.

"Good afternoon, Mia. I see you're doing well."

"Good afternoon, officer Leon. You don't look so bad yourself." This, of course, was an understatement. The sun lit his back and highlighted his sculpted arms. His face was as handsome as ever and his expression was soft. He looked like a delicate angel and a harbinger of protection at the same time. I welcomed him into my home.

"Good news, the investigation is complete, and we have caught the driver. Turns out, he was a notorious drunk driver that we've been searching for months" He wore a smile but I could tell a part of him was saddened. "...So I won't be seeing you anymore."

We were sitting on the couch in the living room. Our eyes met and something sparked in me. I reached out to hold his hand.

"It's alright. You've done so much for me. I can't thank you enough."

"N-no, it's just that..." His voice trails off and his head lowers. He tried to hide his blushing face but seemed to forget his reddened ears. Ah.

It grew deathly silent in the living room.

After awhile, he rushed to get up. "I-I'm sorry. I'm gonna go-"

"Wait. It's okay." I don't know what came over me but I grabbed his wrist. "I feel the same way." Before I knew it, my face was flushed. Our eyes met, our gaze burning hotter by the second. It was then my memory grew hazy.

Our lips meet, his rough ones against mine. He pushed me down onto the couch and deepened the kiss. I closed my eyes as his tongue pried at the opening of my lips and I opened my mouth, allowing his tongue to dance with mine. We finally part and our gazes meet again.
