the rest of the students gave him a look that read, 'are you serious'. Some of them had their mouths agap.
Then, they all shouted in their usual manner, "It's just a super normal school event! Phew..."
I took a moment to think after that, recollecting all of my thoughts and memories from the show. Luckily, the sports festival is still happening, I was starting to fear that because I was here it might not happen at all. Nothing Villainous really happens in that arc so It should be smooth sailing for a little bit.
"Is it okay to have a sports festival so soon after the villains snuck inside?" Jirou asks.
"Yeah, What if they attack us again or something...?"
"Apparently, they think of it as U.A. showing that our crisis management system is solid as a rock by holding the event." The teacher explains.
"Security will also be strengthened to five times that of previous years. Above all, our sports festival is a huge chance. It's not an event to be cancelled because of a few villains. Our sports festival is one of Japan's biggest events. In the past, the Olympics were called a festival of sports, and the whole country was crazy about them. As you know, with reductions in scale and population, they're now a shell of their former glory..."
"And now, for Japan, what has taken the place of those Olympics is the U.A. sports festival."
Of course, all the top heroes around the country will be watching. For scouting purposes!" Momo exclaims, exited for the upcoming opportunity.
"Of course, joining a famous hero agency will get you more experience and popularity. Time is limited. If you expect to go pro, then the path to your future will open up at this event. One chance per year -- a total of just three chances. No aspiring heroes can afford to miss this event. If you understand that, then don't slack off on your preparations!"
"Yes, sir!"
"Homeroom is dismissed."
The students hold their discussions, expressing their excitment and nervousness. No one bothered to indulge me though, so I just sat on the sidelines in silence, taking in their conversations.
"Everyone's so into it..." Midoriya mumbles to Iida.
"And You're not? We have enrolled here to become heroes, so of course we would get fired up!"
"Iida, you have a unique way of getting fired up." I joke, deciding that if they wont talk with me, Ill talk with them. Tsu agrees, saying that she feels that his way is weird.
It earns me a small glare from Iida, but at that point I didn't care. He turns back to Midoriya. "Don't you feel the same?"
"Of course I do. But something's..."
Uraraka then turns toward them with a menacing expression formed on her face. "Deku, Iida..."
"Huh?"
"Let's do our best at the sports festival!" She yells, determination clear on her face.
"U-Uraraka, your face...! It's..."
Mina walks over to her, her brows furrowed."What's the matter? You don't look carefree at all, even though that's what your name means."
"Everyone, I'm gonna do my best!" She exclaims, raising her fist into the Air. Her adamant cry gathers many cheers from the rest of the class.
She turns to Kirishima and some of the other boys, Shouting to them, "I'm gonna do my very best!"
"I bet you'll do great Uraraka." I tell her, earning a grateful but wary smile the girl.
