In which, the main character was simply put in a new department, being fully enlightened regarding the romantic feelings of the people surrounding her but not the challenges that awaits her.

He fainted on the spot.

"...So, since you're the top student in the class. Could you help me study, Jay?" Daniel asked, scratching the back of his neck as he towered over Jay who sat on his desk.
Despite his initial shy smile, Daniel's mood quickly improved as Jay nodded his head to his offer. He eagerly took the seat next to the blonde that was originally occupied by Nari. Daniel would have assumed that Nari hadn't arrived yet if it wasn't for the small sign of her presence underneath her desk, which was her bag that was hastily thrown under.
"Jay, where's Nari?" he asked Jay who shrugged in response.
"That's not how you do it! Brainless piece of shit." Nari scolded.
"Shit! Can't you just switch back to our department? Fuck. I won't fight with you anymore. Mary won't let me copy her answers."
"Sounds like a you problem."
"Fuck."

Upon entering the library, Nari couldn't help but let out a deep sigh as the familiar voices of her schoolmates - Daniel, Duke, and Jiho - who were just about to return to their table after purchasing snacks, greeted her.
"Come, Nari!" Duke called out, waving at the noirette who they just happened to see.
"Daniel, you're changing your seat? Why?" asked Jiho
"Yeah. Someone's stuff is on my- NARI, WHY ARE YOU EATING THOSE?"
"Because they're supposed to be eaten?" Nari answered as she munched the snack, raising her eyebrows at Daniel as if he was asking the obvious.
"But they're someone else's snack?"
"Danny, so oblivious."
"What does that have to do with-"
"Daniel- wow Duke said he's fifth in his class!" Jiho exclaimed with excitement, patting Duke's shoulder proudly.
"What?! Really?" Daniel asked with the same enthusiastic tone.
"Oh yeah! That's right!" Nari acknowledged with a nod, being Duke's former classmate.
"It's nothing compared to Nari. She used to be the top student in our class."
"Wow, Nari!"
After accidentally taking a peek on Mira's conversation with Nari and finding out that the latter is at the library, what would Zack do? Of course, follow the brunette like a behaved dog to see Nari!
Zack's eye twitched as he watched the others cling to Nari like leeches, desperate for her attention (as if he isn't doing the same). He had hoped to spend time alone with Nari. Instead, he found himself having to share her attention with a group of students who seemed equally infatuated with her and he couldn't help but feel annoyed at their presence.
'Why are you all here? Damn!'
"Daniel, it's like this!"
"Oh.." Daniel responded with a nod.
"Why the fuck do we have calculus in the Fashion Dept?"
"Nari~ let's have lunch!"
'What is this? A school reunion?!' Zack grumbled.
"Get lost, you guys!"
"Huh?!"
"You get lost!"
"Nari, shall we go somewhere else?"
"What?"
"Hey! Don't you dare-"
"Shut the fuck up."
"Yes ma'am."
"Oh? It's Vasco and Jace!"

Nari's study sched School - Study with Mary and Vin Library - Read random books that caught my attention + study with whoever the fuck I see Night - Study by myself and get distracted by the most random shits
Unfortunately for Nari, the chaotic cycle continued on a daily basis until the exam day approached.
"Eyes on your paper. You have an hour to answer." said their adviser after distributing the test papers.
"These..." Nari muttered with wide eyes as she stared at the paper.
'All of these are on the reviewer I made!'
The female lightly squealed and giggled to herself as she answered the questions swiftly and efficiently. She didn't have to exert too much effort, she seemed to have answers at her fingertips, as if the information was second nature to her. Jay, sitting beside her, smiled and was glad that she was doing well. Though, he would swap test papers with her straight away if she happened to struggle.
"The top student for mid-terms is... Nari Shin."
"Oooohhhh!!!"
The classroom erupted in cheers and applause, with everyone offering their congratulations and compliments to her, which Nari caught with rather high pride.
"Heh. Small thing."
While Zack's proud expression turned into a scowl when it was announced that Daniel got the second place.
'Damn traitor!! I thought he was dumber than me..'
After the long and arduous midterms, the students of J-High had another thing to look forward to: the retreat camp set to occur right after the exams.
